ok,

Here is where I am at this point.. Down a total of 36 lbs 12 lost before surgery. I am feeling great and people are noticing the weight loss, including me :) I hae to admit that I am feeling a little sluggish at times but, I do notice that if I make sure to keep my fluids up my energy goes up as well.. I am able to east soft foods including salmon ( I love it) I do have to be very careful not to over eat or it is very uncomfortable, It is a learning process for sure, I am very very glad that I had this done. My main struggle is making sure that I do eat, I find that I dont realize im hungry until my stomach hurts I am working on eating a little every few hours its a struggle for me but I am getting there. If you are out there wondering if this surgery works.. it does.. and I will keep posting as I continue on this journey :)

Hi Sarah,

I go in for my surgery in exactly one week. How did you feel the first week after your surgery? My son in flying in to San Diego to be with me after the surgery(he's in the military and not allowed in TJ) and we thought we would stay in SD a few days to site-see (we used to live there). Did you have much pain or energy that first week?

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for posting - I go in on June 30th - excited and a bit scared but this is revision surgery for me...so I have been through this before somewhat.

One question - on your energy level right after surgery - how long before you were "back to normal" with your energy? I don't expect to be Zumba'ing for about a month - but just walking ect?

Thanks - keep up the great work!
