My appeal was just approved. My doc said they are so booked, that I won't get a surgery date until next month, but it should be Jan/Feb. Keep your fingers crossed for Jan. Already had my psych eval and my nutrition class is tonight. I started this with a buddy in Aug. She had her surgery on Oct 18 and I'm still waiting. She was a cash patient. I got turned down by Fed BC/BS the first time through and had to appeal. My GP took forever to write my letter of support so I just got approved a couple of weeks ago. My friend is doing great by the way and she has already lost 20 pounds!
