Hi Susan Join the club. This has happened to me twice now. Ist time (Jan 09)I had a complete unfill. I did the liquids+. maalox diet for 2 weeks and went back for a fill 6 weeks later. My pouch was completely fine. Just got back on Saturday from another complete unfill as it had happened again. Even though I only had 1.4cc in my band. I've lost most of my weight so 1.4cc caused me to be too tight. I'll go back in August for a little fill. Dr So said no more than 1.3cc. I actually don't really want to lose anymore weight just maintain, Which I think will be the hardest. Good Luck

Hi TL They harvest (lipo) it from my belly. I know it can be painful but the before and after piccies he showed me looked amazing.

Hi So had my consultation with the lovely Dr Q and I will need a body lift, fat transfer to the bum and implants to fill up the skin sacks. Approx $10,000 but I still have to wait as I have zero holidays left this year. I'm definately going to Cosmed though I felt so comfortable. Good luck Trudy in July give me all the details.

Hi Trudy Congrats on your decision. I have to wait until next year $$$$$ but I'm seeing Dr Q for a consult tomorrow for a TT boob lift etc etc aswell as a unfill at the OCC. Did you go for a consultation to any surgeons in Calgary?

Hi Stormy I have the mucus problem aswell. I am going tomorrow for a slight unfill. AGAIN! I can basically only eat in the evening as everything gets stuck.I am having problems with protein intake because of the milk being too thick.I've been drinking them off a spoon. Good luck

Hi Why don't you try the 5 day pouch test ( you can search for it here) and then journal to see what you are actually eating. You may not be getting enough calories. I know when I'm especially tight I end up not getting enough and I don't lose weight. Don't lose hope.

Hi I also went alone for my surgery and ended up making friends with my fellow bandsters. We hung out together the whole time we were there. See how you feel after the surgery before making that decision. Good luck

Hi Its the gas. It just takes time. I'm over a year out and I still get the hiccups alot.

Hi I didn't have this problem infact I had the opposite ,but my husband had terrible diahrea. It is quite common if you think about it, FLUIDS in FLUIDS out. We added benefibre to his drinks and he took some flora (the natural bacteria) from the health store. Imodium will help in in short term also. Hope this helps.

Hi K I hope I didn't jinx you.LOL I'm still on liquids but I feel 100 times better, Hopefully I can get .2 back in a few weeks. I have to go to the OCC from now on as they have the Flouro. Luckily prices have come down. GOODLUCK.

Hi I would go onto total liquids for a couple of days as you probably have irritated the band. If this doesn't help PLEASE get an unfill. A little unfill saves alot of problems trust me. Good luck.

Hi All Well I took a quick trip to OCC to see my pal Dr Acousta on Saturday. The reason for the trip I had become too tight again. I always get tight during TOM but it didn't let up 10 days later. It was taking me allday to finish a protein shake with a teaspoon. This still caused pain. I begged him not to unfill me completely so he took .4cc out and I'm on liquids for a week and Maalox every 4 hours. I feel so much better now though. Its crazy how I have been too tight at 3 different amounts 3cc, 2.6cc and 1.8cc. I don't actually want to lose anymore weight BUT I don't want to gain any back. I already had a fill date at the Occ for June so hopefully I'll be back on track then.
