I go back on Nov 6th and have all the stitches taken out.

hahaha...thank you! I know it is a gross pic...but I always like to see crap like that before I ever consider having stuff done. Now of course I would be morified to meet anyone on here though! lol

the stitches made are called "quilted" Something about them helping to reattach everything to the muscles inside. The puckered look will go away when they are removed.

it was a lift/reduction with a small implant for the top to fill them in They had to remove my nipples and reattach...as well as cut from side to side underneath. I have a LOT of stitches! They look good though if you can look past the bruises and stitches! hahaha

OUCH! I am back...everything is fine...just in pain and looking fwd to the time that I cant remember the pain from this! haha I was going to have both the bl and tt done...but I was too anemic for both at the same time...I am glad though because I think I would be in total agony! Just thought I would update!

I am here...at the Lucerna. I went to Ortiz's office today and had an unfill for a few weeks while I am healing back up...and went to the lab at the surgeons office to have blood drawn. He is now supposed to be calling me to come meet with me today after he gets done with surgery. Thank you everyone

I am going to stay at the Lucerna...I can't imagine that they are that far from each other though. My Mom will be with me...but I already told her you were going to be there getting your band alone and I might meet up with you! I have my camera packed and will take pics the whole way through and post a slide show or something. I know I am always looking for stuff like that when I am looking to do something! It makes you feel better to see someone else's experience!

I will definitely keep everyone posted! I know I will love it...but today...my anxiety has kicked in. I feel like I have an elephant on my chest I am so nervous. So silly I know. I can't help it though. Now I just wish I was there already and I could get it over with! I just talked to Dr. Caloca and he said all of my hotel and transportation stuff was set up...and that he would personally pick my Mom and I up from the hotel on Friday and take us in to the clinic. That made me feel better. I have started packing some stuff...but I am wondering what I will feel like wearing? How bloated will I be? etc... anyone know?

I took a banana...cut it up and made tiny "sandwiches" with peanut butter in between the bananas...put 3 into each snack bag and froze them. WOW...so easy and delicious!

I also have the larger band...and now have 7.2cc's in it. It takes awhile to get to the right point. There was a long time when I didn't think I would ever get there! Thanks for bragging on me Karin!

I am sure I will lose some more from skin...not sure how much...I will be curious to find out! I might still have to lose some more also after all is said and done...I will just have to see what I look like! It is gonna be about $8200...not including my plane ticket and hotel. I am happy about your second fill results! That is such a great feeling when you can really tell the band is working for you!

I think they did 8 on the day I was there...everyone was happy though!
