YEAH good for you Sandy!! Keep up the good work. 10,000 should be a daily goal for you. Unfortunately for me, I injured my leg in a fall last week and am not allowed to use it at all so my walking days are over for the time being.

My friend was there this past week being banded and she overheard the conversation between Dr. Ortiz and whoever was there doing the asking (she didn't know who it was). He said he didn't do anyof those get together things and wasn't interested in attending.

I did see it!!! He is soooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!

I heard through the grapevine that when Dr. Ortiz was asked if he would come to our San Diego planned get together, he said no, he does not do any of those at all. Not interested. Just thought we all ought to know so we can make or break our plans accordingly. BooHoo

I feel sorry for all you moms with your kids going off to school. As for me, every September that rolls around, I STILL am grateful that it isn't me going back! Oh how I hated the start of each new school year. I still get those pangs of DESPAIR in my belly and I have been out of school since 1977!

He is so laid back and so sweet! Had him to the vet eysterday and he has infections in his ear and his eye has a corneal ulcer and his teeth are a HUGE mess! The vet isn't sure if he has herpes, calicivirus, stomastitis or just tooth abcesses. He said it could be any one of those things. So, we start off with antibiotics and if that helps the teeth, then that is the best case and will resolve easily. He has to have antibotics in hismouth, and his eyes and his ears. Hope my mom can get them in him. He was so sweet at the vets, let them do whatever they wanted without any problem at all. Such a sweetie. We think she is changing his name (yet AGAIN) to Rocky this time. For his rocky start in his new life.

Well, unfortunately, I am on my 4th fill and still don't have much restriction. My first 2 fills were at the OCC and they did say that since I had the bigger band that it would take me longer to get restriction. Then, I got my last 2 fills in Frederick Maryland and I haven't felt much of anything from those two either. So, talked to Dr. So about it and he is thinking that they are missing my port and sticking me into scar tissue instead not realizing they are missing the port. He wants me to come back to the OCC but I need some more money first. But, you are only on your second fill, so I wouldn't worry yet. Lost of people need a few before they feel it. They also need a week or two before it kicks in. So you have time yet before you get frantic.

SO glad you are doing well and feeling fine. And congratulations!!! DId you see a gal there named Theresa? It's my good friend from Pa. She went with her brother. Just got a call that she did well but was wondering if you met her. She has VERY curly blonde hair and is very funny. Hope she is up and at em and shopping too! I really wanted to go with her, but her brother went instead. I've been trying to get her to come on board here, but she never has yet.

I too, was banded in Mexico and had no pain whatsoever. Never took a pian pill and in fact, didn't even stay overnight at the clinic. So severe pain would really concern me!

Well, tomorrow I will be up and at em very early. We have been renovating my mothers rental house and need to get it done, so tomorrow we are going to try to finish up. Will take all day and then I have my nephews 21st birthday party. Sunday, I am taking my neice's cat to a hospice shelter 2 hours away. It was a kitty she rescued from the mean street of Allentown and my mom was going to keep it (Before she got Stevie) but it turned out she has feline leukemia and cannot be with healthy cats. So, we found a hospice house to take her. So, I have a very busy weekend and not looking forward to it! Sounds like your week will be much nicer and fun! Good for you, you deserve to have some fun.

Nope, not sarcastic at all. Very laid back and sweet. Very confused though because it is so quiet now and only one other cat instead of 100's. He keeps following mom around too. He knows she is his new mom. Susie still growls and spits, but she'll get over it. Yes, I cannot believe you figured out how to post a picture and stats all by yourself!! It's a miracle. And yes, it is a good picture. Did you read my post about my first throwing up episode last night? GROSS!

My first PB episode last night! Oh myyyyy God, it was awful! One bite too much and a few minutes later I felt like I had to burp big time, and instead...............pain, and then the feeling of a huge gas bubble trying to make it's way up my throat and it took forever, and all these horrible sounds coming from my throat and oh the pain and......finally, the huge air bubble came out and so did my food! Just a little though. It was peas! And the sliming, OH GROSSSSSSS I had no idea what that was all about until it happened to me. EWWWWWWWWWWWW I think that made me vomit more!!! YUCKYUCKYUCK I can vomit just thinking about it again. And wasn't it just yesterday I said it hadn't happened to me yet? I am almost glad it did though. Because, believe me, I don't ever want that to happen again! So, I will be much more careful! Don't know if I can ever eat peas again.

Good for you Bobbi!!!!!! I too have to admit that chocolate doesn't hold the same appeal to me as it used too. And I couldn't be happier. I mean, I sitll like chocolate, but I am not addicted to it like I had been.
