I wonder, about 2 things........ If it would make sense, and then, would it be possible to add two more categories to this forum. The first being the clothing exchange. If it was all a separate category, it might be much easier to manage and keep track of. People could post a picture of the item and whoever responds first can ask for it. Another one might be a category called: not band related. This would be for discussing stuff among friends that might not be band related. A lot of other sites have these options because some people develope friendships and end up talking about other things are not necessarily band related. Like when we talk pets!!!!!!! That might help new bandster work their way around all the posts easier. What does everyone think? Chad? Lori?

Hey girl, it sounds like you may be too tight, which isn't good! I think you better give the Doctor a call. Trouble with liquids is baaaad for the pouch. Good for weight loss, but could stretch the pouch!! I am worried about you! I am at 11398 for the day so far. Had to big walks here at work.

I've read this previously and did try it a few trimes. I have to say, they are definitely right! I was more aware of what I was eating when I wrote it all down. It made me want to eat less the next day. I just never stayed with it. Well, I use Spark People.com and that is very easy to keep records too. Although, I confess, I have been very lazy about it lately since my diet is very bland and kind of the same each day.

I think my stuff might be too big for most people here, since I am a big gal, but if anyone needs some 3x shirts, I have a couple. They are button down casual type blouses. Hopefully, I will have more soon. And Bobbi, I can get you some stuff from my sister, she is dropping weight and probably has 24's yet. You did say 24, right? How about top size? She probably has those too. She just got down to 18/20. I'll talk to her. Let me know what type of stuff you wear and hopefully she has some.

I use a couple of different poems but my two favorites are as follows (If I can remember the words off the top of my head) There's something missing from my home, I feel it day and night. Would be a great idea, but I am still in 26. Only had 3 blouses that got too big and gave them to a local girl who needed some. I think my stuff is still too big for anyone here.

PLus, what good is owning a house if you aren't around to enjoy it. Which could happen if you are heavy because being overwight cause all kinds of diseases. Look at it that way. Thats how I justified taking a loan against my 401k plan. I figured, if I wanted to be around to enjoy my 401k, then I better get healthy so I AM around!

I understand not wanting to put it on your house, but look at it this way, getting a home equity loan for it will ALSO help you get more back at tax time.

I do think that if you have been heavy for a while, you rmind gets used to it and doesn't see the differences. But you will. YOur mind just needs to catch up. I only lost 30 and don't see anything but my pants suddenyl got bigger. I think a lot of us kind of go through the same things. But I bet any day now, you'll see for yourself!! Hows the hubby? They are in there now, can't you see them? DId I ever tell you my first cat was named Julie, like you? She is a beauty Queen and has been featured in 2 different calendars. She is the one who has lupus and wasn't expected to live beyond her first 6 months. But she is still with me and is 12 years old.
