Well, this is unusual, but when I was still starting my banding journey here is the states, I joined the local band group and was weighed on this cool scale by the bariatrician. This scale records your weight, your BMI, your fat%, your body water % and you bones and flesh %. Really cool scale. What it said for me was that my bones, water & flesh, with no fat whatsoever, weighed 147 pounds. But, the doctor said that since everyone needs a tiny bit of fat in them, my ideal weight would be 150 pounds.
What is unusual about this is that I am only 5'3". All the weight charts indicate that I should be around 120, so I found this odd. The doctor said it just goes to show you that those weight charts are wrong because everyone has different bone and flesh mass and my bones happen to weigh a lot more than most people of my height.
Isn't that weird? Did you ever hear of such a thing?
