  1. My fill is on Monday and yesterday and today I have totally been a BAD GIRL! Go ahead and cuss me Cedar! LOL LOL I pretty much have no restriction, except for when bread is in the picture, and I have to go on will power to keep losing. I am hoping all this will change Monday when I get a good fill. Anyway, I am not gonna give ya'll all the gory details of my CheatFest 2008, but I feel so bad about what I ate. Ah well, tomorrow is a new day and I will just jump back on the bandwagon.

  5. Yes, I agree with everyone else. The liquids are not gonna hurt your pouch. You can drink as much as you want to.

  12. I just hit my first plateau a few weeks back. I only lost 11 lbs since my first fill and am ready for my 2nd one pronto. I had to up my water intake to start losing weight again.
  13. Way to go woman!! I have been worried about you not having any restriction. Chew, chew, chew and eat slow. You have to test yourself with eating and see what foods you can and cannot eat. I am ready to see the pounds fly off of you!

  16. Dianna~ Keep your mind focused on the goal. If you are anything like me, you know by now that you 100% want to make this lap band work. Never let that stray far from your mind. I was consumed with it. Your pre-op diet and your post-op diet are gonna be hard, but I really believe they put you in a frame of mind that you don't have to eat everything in the house to survive. You will be surprised that you will start feeling like a new person. I had something to look forward to. It is still what keeps me going daily is to see those scales move. I had a few days pre-op that I panicked and wanted to eat my fave foods once more, and I did! You started early, like I did so you are already more than halfway there. Remember, focus on the goal. Start tracking your meals, on paper or online. Make it part of your daily routine. It really shocks you when you start realizing how many calories/fat some foods have in them that you never knew were so bad! I thought a grilled rib-eye was great for you until I tracked it on my spark page and realized 8ozs has almost 1500 calories and 45 grams of fat! I almsot passed out! LOL You are gonna do great! I am rooting for you all the way!
  17. I would like to be a size 8. I can't even imagine! I am thick around the middle so right now I am still in a 16..that is from a very tight 20 though.

  21. Yes, I use sparkpeople also. It is addictive. I keep track of everything I eat.
  22. I am sorry you are feeling discouraged. Just remember, you need to get to that "sweet spot" to feel perfect restriction. I have had one fill and I also don't have any restriction. My next fill is next week and right now I am relying on willpower alone. It will get better!
