    I have a had a hectic last two weeks! I am doing okay. I can eat now pretty much just like I did before the band and I am struggling to stay strong. Some things still come back up, but most everything I can eat. I haven't lost any weight since I started eating. I will get my first fill May 5th so hopefully then I will start losing again. I hope everyone is doing well! >

    Yes, I was banded by Dr. Martinez and I never even met Dr. Ortiz. I think he was off that day. I was a little worried at first that Dr. O wouldn't be there until I met Dr. Martinez. He is such a strong, confident surgeon. You will be perfectly fine. I was amazed with him.

    I think getting the lap band will do wonders for you. Good luck with your decision. The OCC is excellent!

    I am gonna stay far away from bread..it scares me! I ate a grilled chicken salad today and it was heavenly. The weird thing is that I don't even really care about eating anymore! =D>

    Just remember to chew, chew, chew and you will see if you can tolerate them. We boil crawfish here in the South and eat them and suck their heads. LOL I am sure that is what he is referring to.

    Shopping on Revolution Ave was the highlight of our trip. We felt very safe and had a great time!

    I actually had a Lean Cuisine for dinner just now and it went down fine. Who would have ever thought a Lean Cuisine would taste so good? I am scared about not losing anymore or gaining some back, but I have this new amazing willpower so I am confident it won't happen.

    What I was feeling when I would PB right after I was banded was like a knot in my throat. It felt really weird.

    Mine finally went away after 2 weeks. It was horrible and seemed to get worse when I drank. I hope yours goes away soon.
