  1. I am pretty sure there is a gym next door. I am not sure if they have spa service though.
  2. I think it is: water gatorade coffee broth tea I am sure I am missing a few. If you can manage to get some broth down you will feel so much better.
  3. I would be upset too! On a liquid diet the pounds seem like they should come off pretty easily. Your body may be in shock. Just give it time and it will happen. >
  4. Just remember, your husband will probably be the last brought over. When Mrs. ortiz picked us up, she would not bring the family members unless she had time to come back and get them. It is a long walk to the clinic, but the cabs at the hotel are safe. (Just makes sure they call one for you!)
  5. Be sure to bring your chicken bouillon cubes on the plane. We asked the stewardess for a cup of hot water and made our broth right on the plane. It helped us survive!
  6. My first goal was 135, but I am 5'6" (almost 5'7") so I changed it to 145-150. I don't want to be really, really skinny. I have a large frame and I think ideally the 130's would be too small. I just want to be healthy and look nice.
  7. Gas-x and chicken bouillon cubes. Have a great trip!
  8. aww She needs to come join us! We would love to have her! How is she doing?
  9. What a great group we have here! > These answers just made my day.
  10. :lb14: Do you have a Lapband yourself or do you just work for the OCC?
  11. :lb9: My BMI was around 39 when I started, but hopefully someone here can give you some advice. Good luck with your surgery.
  12. When members on here talk about their weight loss and dropping sizes or do you like to congratulate them? I, personally, think it is a great accomplishment and I love to praise them. I just wonder if some people who are not doing as well get discouraged by these types of posts?
  13. Yes, I had that problem too. I just kept updating mine until it showed the new one.
  14. :cheerleader: Bobbi! Congrats on your weight loss thus far..you are doing wonderful! Keep us updated! >
  15. Just my opinion, but I would want any Dr. doing a surgery on me to know that I have a band.
  16. That really does make sense! I had horrible shoulder pain for the first two weeks, but it is gone now. Thank God!
  17. I just wanted to add that on a 21 day post op liquid diet, you are bound to lose weight. I am worried when I start eating that I will quit losing.
  18. Congratulations and welcome to Bandland! :cheerleader: Keep us updated!
  19. I weigh every morning..I can't help it. I know the scales are the Devil..but they call my name. I am hoping when the newness wears off of having the lap band I can start weighing once a week.
  20. My boobs were stuck too! I peeled them off and it felt soooo good! Haha
  21. I wanted to check on you also. I hope you are making huge progress. YOU CAN DO THIS! :cheerleader:
  22. :lb14: This is my story too! > I am a Mother of a 3 year old and a 1 year old and when I first considered going to Mexico, I was scared of everything..even the plane trip! I had the same thougts as you. What if the plane crashes? What if I die during surgery? What if my husband is left to raise our kids alone because I went off to Mexico to have some crazy weight loss surgery? Whern it came down to it, I knew in the back of my head that I was gonna be fine and I WAS! Everything went better than expected. The trip from start to finish was a wonderful experience I will never forget. I know I have made the right decision for myself and my family. I am losing weight and feeling great! Ultimately, it is only you who can make the decision. We are here to support you through it all. :lb18:
  23. I am getting mine May 5th here in the states. I am hoping I don't have to reschedule because I still have alot of restriction just from the band itself. I hope you find some buddies to get your fill with you! :cheerleader:
