  1. Good luck to all of you! It will be wonderful! >
  2. Yeah that to what Michelle said. Everyone is so different..don't give up hope. I am sure after your first fill the lbs will start falling off.
  3. That's what I was doing on just liquids my first week. It hurts like heck, doesn't it?
  4. You are gonna be just fine! > Also, you will meet many friends while you are there that may not post here.
  5. Yours may fall off all at once..don't stress. I went from eating way too much all the time to this liquid diet and I am losing about a lb a day right now. I look for it to slow way down when I start solids. Are you still on your liquid diet? Are you taking in too many liquid calories?
  6. Look at you !! Way to go! I can't wait to hit that mark. =D> We will be celebrating for Michelle next!
  7. Thanks! I was hoping it wasn't just mine!
  8. Oh thanks so much! My Mom actually makes me a huge pot of homemade creamy potato soup once a week and I eat it all week. LOL It tastes like a rib-eye. Haha
  9. Anyone else having problems? It won't let me edit mine.
  10. When you can start creamy soups, please try the Campbell's Soup at Hand. They are good to take on the go and perfect for your creamy soup cravings!
  11. This is so disheartening! I figured after a fill, it would be hard to eat very much food. I was told you should eat a third of what you used to. I am sorry you are all hungry and not restricted. What a bummer!
  12. I don't think I have even been getting 800 cals, but I had a hard time keeping my liquids down. Dr. Miranda told us not to worry about sugar on our liquid diet, but I have been anyway. I just don't want to drink unnecessary calories.
  13. Congrats on your surgery date! You will be in excellent hands! We are here if you have any questions or concerns. Feel free to ask. Good luck! >
  14. I am pretty sure I was intubated. Actually, they scratched my throat all the way down with the tube. It is just now starting to heal. I am sure that is rare though, and was an accident.
  15. This liquid diet sure as heck works. :lol I can already feel my clothes and even my rings getting loose! Woo!
  16. Agghh!! No wonder my throat hurts! :lol Anyone else have throat soreness and pain after the surgery?
  17. I just wanted to share what my babies look like with ya'll. Thanks for looking! This is Brady, my 3 year old. My sweet Isabella..she will be 2 in July.
  18. Hey girl! Just try to stay on your liquids and drink as much as you want. That is what my friends are doing that were banded with me. Stay strong!!
  19. You only have to contact Dr. Miranda if you weigh over 250 lbs or your BMI is over 40. Otherwise, you just follow the pre-op diet on your papers.
  20. I remember walking to the OR and getting on the operating table, but when I woke up I was snug and tucked back into my bed in my room. How the heck did they do that? Carry me? LOL I know it is a silly question, but I am perplexed! I am finally feeling like me again. I am able to drink alot better and the creamy soups are going down great and staying down. I am so happy! Did everyone really stay on the liquid diet for 3 whole weeks? I haven't wanted to eat yet, but I am scared I will want to before the 3 weeks is up.
