Can you not start the creamy soup stage yet? I loved the Campbell's Soup at Hand Creamy tomato :0 I also posted a good soup recipe on the forum - Chicken Tortilla Soup. It's what got me through the post op diet! Good luck and glad your band let you know it was there ... and working!

I think they have liquid tylenol now - if you can go out and get that, it would be better. I used the old fashioned aspirins (tablets) and put it on a spoon and held another spoon over it and pushed down.... It crushed them into a powder .... then I put a little bit of water on the spoon.... Then put a little bit of water in my mouth .... then took what was on the spoon and swallowed everything. Then walked around gagging for about 5 minutes

Here is the skinny on the chat room. It's called Lapbandits and can be accessed ANYTIME by clicking on the following link and entering occ as your password. Remember to click JOIN CHAT to join in. A couple things to remember. The chat room is ALWAYS open but unless someone else is there, you won't have any one to talk with. So the easiest way to do it is to make plans to meet up for a chat. At some point, I would guess the room would become busy on its own and no scheduling would be needed. Once you log on, bookmark the site, so you can get to it easily in the future. We mentioned holding a chat every Monday night. We started at 10 last night to allow for the folks that were three hours behind us. 10 p.m. for me and you, is 7 for them. We're going to try a little earlier next time (9:00 p.m.) but we might lose folks that haven't had a chance to get home and feed their family, etc. The chat was fun because we all let our hair down and you can actually read personalities easier. And we definitely let our hair down! We rolled around some ideas for the get together that might take place in spring of 2009. We're looking at San Diego and Vegas and no date was set. Michelle suggested that our get together be named Band Camp 2009 and those of us present in the chat seemed to love her idea. I believe she posted her suggestion and requested feedback, so remember to give her that. She's going to work up a design for a Band Camp 2009 t-shirt and let us all take a look at it. We discussed gathering before and after photos and having a transformation video to show at the get together. So everyone needs to start documenting their progress. We'll have about one year to progress, so ladies get busy! ALSO, if you want to chat with a band buddy, just email him or her the link and password and make plans to meet up at a specific itme. Jenn, Chances are if a parent has had lap band surgery, they probably have a son or daughter that might be in need. So, definitely, I think your talking about you and Cassie's experience and how much it has changed Cassie's life, etc. would be great!

We met a cute and spunky to-be-bandster today. When she booked her surgery recently, she was told that they switched to the Lucerna :) How interesting is that? Oh I love Daniel at the front desk of the Lucerna.

As far as speakers, they usually do not charge. We would, however, have to pay for a meeting room at the hotel of our choice.
