Thank you for your posting. I have been reading the blogs on this site for almost two years but this is the first time I have ever posted. It is great to hear from someone here in Las Vegas. Going to Dr. Ortiz was the best decision I have ever made. I have been banded just over a year now and I have lost almost 40 pounds. It has been a lot of work to lose the weight especially lately. My boyfriend is the only person who knows that I have been banded so I do not have a strong support network. I love your idea to form a local support group... count me in
