Good Morning, Today I put on a pair of black jeans and a grey knit turtle neck (I bought a few weeks ago thinking I wouldn' t wear it for another 20 lbs from now) and I feel like the person I should be, thinner...not thin yet, but working on it!! The key is..I don't feel like the obese/overweight/fat lady I was just 5 short months ago. It's an amazing feeling and I want to share it with all of my beautiful banditas and banditos!!! Oh Anita, I am sorry you had to endure that...not fun is it!! But now that you have experienced it, you won't repeat it. My third fill has tightened me right up and I have cut my food into really small bites and chew really well or it gets stuck right away. Almost every dinner lately, I get the tightness in my chest, I slime a little, swallow it and breathe and eventually it goes down. Don't panic, it tightens it up even worse. Just breathe and walk. Feel better!!

Oh dear, that's scarey for you, I am so glad they knew what they were doing and were able to make you feel better, take it easy okay!!

Hi BigDaddy, if you are banded at the OCC, you are on liquids for 21 days post op...pizza will come after that. I find wings hard to eat, can't manage the skin and pulling the meat out, is too much work. Pizza and wings may become a thing of your past, it has for me! Good luck with whatever you decide!!

If you are using more willpower than bandpower, get a little fill. The same thing happened to me just a couple of weeks ago and I got a .5 cc fill last Wednesday and have lost 4 lbs since, it's working like a charm...get a fill!!!

Hi Cara, I am sorry you are having a tough week and being without restriction is not helping. Book a fill right away. I can't understand how people can treat patients the way they do, it's a huge business, they charge alot of money, they should be kissing our asses. Aftercare is so important, the receptionist might be a b*tch, but if the fill doctor is professional and does his/her job you will be just fine going local. If he's not, there are other places to take your business. Good Luck Bella, I will talk to you later this week!

I think everyone else has covered it...eat slowly, chew well, small bites and when you feel tightness in your chest stop eating and let it go down. I have a very tight fill right now and find that I am sliming, but breathe and stop eating and it does pass.

Great idea! The only problem I have is if I order for my trip in March to the Bahamas, I have no clue what size I will be by then...I will have a look though, I am sure something will appeal to me!! I am Cathy and I am a shopaholic!! LOL!!!
