  2. The ladies are right, rest your band, go on liquids and make sure you have anti-nausea meds on hand. I am so happy you had a great time and I am sure you will be just fine!!

Hang in there, just a day or two to go and you can start on creamy soups and you will feel full...be sure to drink your broth, water, etc. as much as you need, as many times a day as you require...popcicles are great too!! Feel better...you are not alone, we've all been there!!! You can do this!!
  4. I have been married for 19 years and overweight for most of those years...I am a lucky lady to have such a wonderful husband who loves my curves no matter how big they got. He's loving the smaller ones more now. I have been getting alot of looks from men as well lately, which is surprising. I am not a young lady, 45 years old. Believe me...with every pound you lose your confidence will rise up and up and you will be dating and turning heads in no time!! Best of Luck!!!
  5. You are doing just fantastic and looking wonderful....increase the meat /protein portion at dinner sweetie, you need 3-4 oz. Keep it up!!!

  7. I take extra strength tylenol gel caps, they are capsules that slide right down to the stomach, no chance of corroding.

  12. Great post Cara, the only thing I eat/drink that's is processed by someone else..is a Slimfast shake in the morning...the rest is homemade, all natural, no preservatives and sodium free!!

  14. Hi Anita, as long as you are able to liquids down and they are staying down, I don't think you need an unfill. Certain times of the day, certain times of the month and certain foods get stuck for me too. I drank a Slim Fast for breakfast, some sheppard's pie for lunch and dinner was a write-off, ate about 1/2 a homemade burger (no bun), chopped really small, but it got wicked stuck and I couldn't eat anymore or anything else. I can't eat in the morning, I am really tight..but lunchtime seems okay so far, dinner comes and goes. I would monitor it and if you are not able to eat anything without it getting stuck or PBing, you may need a little unfill. Good luck sweetie..I know it's not fun...but it does loosen up over time.   15. Hi there, you can do it...4 lbs is not unattainable...drink more water, step up the exercise and cut out any diet cola. I was not banded at the OCC, so I am not sure whether surgery can be cancelled if you don't lose the last 4 lbs..I have never seen it. Try not to stress out about it and focus on the goal!! Good Luck with the weight loss and your surgery!

  17. That's great Julie, nothing more rewarding than putting on that top or pair of pants that you could never wear!! I love shopping in my own closet or cupboards and giving away the clothes that are way too big for me now!! It really puts this reality into perspective!! Thin is on it's way ladies!!
  18. Hi Mona, as long as you are full after eating, even if it's 6 times per day, you are on your way...keep your food choices healthy and under 1200 calories per day and girl you will be lookin' hot in no time!!
  19. Hi Mona, I go through the same thing sometimes, I do as Julie suggested, eat a meal, stop when full and if I get hungry again, I have a 100 calorie snack. I am thrilled that you are finally on your way!!! Good Luck Girl!!!

I am really tight in the morning and at dinner time, so who knows what's going on...I have a shake for breakfast, protein and veggies for lunch and try to get some protein in a dinner time, maybe a snack of something soft like pudding or fudgecicle. If you are not getting alot of food and nutrients in, make sure you take your vitamins. Take care!

  25. Me too Anita, but if we had a party everytime someone had something to celebrate, we'd all get fat again!! LOL!!! But a get together when we reach our goal is definitely a great idea and my suggestion was a trip to the Bahamas in March 2010! Are you game? Anyone else?
