Julie, i know exactely how you feel :lb12: Just came back from Switzerland where we visited a "Praline confiserie" . After showing us how they make their handmade pralines and truffles, we came into a room where they had all sorts displayed and you could try as much as you wanted. I mean tons and tons of the best pralines I ever had (in my former life lol) Ohhhh for a moment I thought I am in HEAVEN. Before being banded I would probably have stuffed my mouth not getting enough, but this time I only had one (1) champagner truffle, let it melt in my mouth and really really enjoyed this luxury I think we are all doing great =D> =D> =D>

Trina, I don't know But now I know I don't have to go and get it - was thinking about it I usually drink the 100% Whey Protein chocolate or vanilla and find them actually good and get them down better than others I've tried. I make them with FF milk and 1 1/2 scoops per shake. Since I'm looking for some unflavored protein to mix into other food, I might try the unflavored protein that MM suggested :-? Hang in there

I have been in Switzerland for a week on business and of course stayed a couple of days in Germany to see my family! This time was different! I was NOT hiding, being embarrassed that people would see me and thinking "gosh, she got fat" :lb12: My BFF is a bandster too and it just happend that she got a fill at the time I was over there. So me - being curious, went with her to see how they do the fills :-? (My friend had only 2 fills and 1 unfill in almost 2 years, losing 85 lbs.) Anyhow, the doc was really nice and we chatted a little bit about my experience and where I was banded and all of a sudden he says "Dr. Ortiz? You kidding me? ... I met him! He is one of the best surgeon in this field" comes out, he met Dr. O at some international meeting years ago! He even offered me a fill, anytime I'd be over there and needed one. This was the first time I came back from "mom's cooking" and have lost a pound instead of gaining 10

Mistyband - I'm sorry to hear about your mom, she would be very proud of you !! Since I got those "killer legs" I usually wear only long skirts and hardly any pants... Getting them altered around the waist, was the easiest way and also less expensive Since everyone is doing so great, I don't know if there is someone out there who would be interested in some of my "not altered" size 22-24 skirts ? (Sorry, no tops & blouses - gave them all to my sis-in-law)

Kimmie, I am so very sorry for your loss! Me, being a doggie mom of 3 rescue pups - I honestly believe that those incredible souls find us ... and if it klicks ... it just klicks We can't rescue them all , but if we have the chance to give only one a new family & home, that little stinker will be forever grateful and give you so much love in return! GO FOR IT ~ Lucy knew that if love could have saved her, she would have lived forever ~

Denise, the Fill Center is charging a fixed price for the visit/fill (first time $349 and there after $ 185) BUT the fluoro depends on were you go, because it is charged by the person who does the fill. Some NP's do not charge for fluoro, some do not do fluoro, some do not do a fill without fluoro and that is where the prices are different. :lb12:
