Thank you girls again MUUAAAZZZHHHHH I think it is great to have the hubby in the same boot - LOL John always crack's me up when we are out for dinner and he looks at me like I'm from the moon for the first couple of bites to see if it goes down well, or if I start doing the sliming thing well, well ... now it's time that I can do that too, huh ?? Denise & Jann, my hubby thought with sticking to a diet and exercise he would be able to get rid of those extra pounds too and as I asked him back in April if he would consider getting banded as well, he chicken'd out - NOOOO WAYYYYY After he could not stick with the diet & exercise thing but watching me losing the pounds and feeling great, he confessed that he is not making it on his own and that he thought about getting banded a lot. Afterall, he has really bad knees and needs a replacement sooner or later and that gave him the final kick in the butt to go ahead .... Maybe your husbands will surprise you one day like John did me, so don't give up hope !!!!! (((HUGS)))

Halli Hallo Hallöle :-h Hubby and I just came back from TJ yesterday evening and he now is in bandland. Everything went very well and the OCC staff was again, outstanding. John has no gas pain whatsoever and is up and running - feeling good I know he will catch up with me in no time, so I better kick my butt :girl_witch: Have a great day everyone

Whhhhaaat ? That sure is interesting ... I would think with her low BMI she'd have the 4cc/10cm band but a 4.5 fill would be A LOT ! The NP I go for my fills told me that a 4cc band can actually hold more than 4cc due to saline in the tube etc., but to feel no restriction up to that point sounds strange ... Please keep us posted what she finds out !

Well, I'm probably not much of help ... buuuuut .... I had the uncomfortable feeling (port area) like you described in the first few weeks after being banded, but only if I took a too big of a sip of water or bite to eat (after day 21) It dissapeared all of a sudden and I haven't gotten that feeling again. Maybe someone else can help you out ?

Kimmie, we have the same problem ... breakfast .... I too sometimes ( o.k. often) skip breakfast, because I am simple too tight and not hungry at all. My body is messing with me as well. There are weeks where I just don't drop a gram and then all of a sudden I lose like 4-5 in a few days. I too need to work on the "breakfast issue" and also on the "getting enough water in". Keep up the great work - you look AMAZING > Jessica - I'll be in TJ for my hubbies banding next week- I make sure I ask her
