Thank you everyone for your concern. I am feeling much better and am able to eat again. I have noticed that more and more of us are getting over filled and risking slippage, My fill nurse told me if I hadn't come in when I did, I too could of slipped. I also realized by being to tight I could only eat or drink certain things that ended up being higher in calories than my lean cusines, and ended up gaining 2 pound with that fill. I am back on track doing what was working for me before and I am certain I will start losing the weight again.

You look wonderful, you are doing a great job. you will be at your goal in no time at all. I love your new outfit in the last picture. I just bought 2 longer shirts or short dresses to wear over skinny jeans and just love em!! thank god the short belly showing shirts are gone from the stores, and replaced with the longer ones.

Thanks, once again it's nice to know I'm not alone. It seems most the time everyone talks about no restriction, but i tell you what, I will take no restriction over what I experianced this last week!! I know there must be a happy medium, and i will find it .2cc at a time :lb12:

Hi last wednesday I went for my second fill, they gave me 1 cc on top of my 1.4 cc, I drank water and it seemed fine, after I got home (2 1/2 hrs. later) I tried to drink a slim fast and it got stuck, it gurggled and hurt like hell. the next morning my coffee got stuck, but eventually went down. I couldn't eat anything solid without it getting stuck. Last night a tiny piece of chicken, smaller than a pencil eraser caused me 2 hours of walking in pain slimming and pb'ing along the way. (thank god it was dark) So today I made an emergency visit with Kitty at the Arlington Washington location (5 hrs. round trip) and she took out .6 cc. I now have to be on liquids for 3 days because I have irratated the band. I would never wish this kind of pain or aggravation on anyone, so please remember that larger fills may not always be best. I now have a total of 1.8 cc and that might still be to much

Michelle you look wonderful.. I had a fill last wednesday, and my port is also tilted, somehow it happened between June and now. I figure at some point I want it planted deeper so I will get it fixed then, They had a tough time finding the flat service, My problem now I am overfilled and having a tough time trying to eat. everything and anything gets stuck And it is so painful. Again you look great and thanks for posting your pictures.

OMG I just realized you are only 14. How brave of you to take control of your life at such a young age.. You should be so proud of yourself!!!! My son had surgery 2 days before you and he has lost 100 as well. He is 24 but if I would have known about it when he was 14 I would not of hesitated. I have a 4cc band, my first fill I got 1.4 that was in June, I didn't think I had restriction so I went back last wednesday and they added 1 cc, not sure why so much, at the clinic I was able to drink water fine, after getting home which took almost 3 hours with no line up at the canadian border (which is the only way to get to my house, even though I live in the US). I can hardly drink water let alone eat anything Every bite gets stuck no matter how little of a bite I take, I wish I would of just asked for .5 cc. So back to liquids, but only after I take sips of coffee or something hot to loosen the band up a bit. Oh it sucks to have food stuck!!! I am going to try to have them meet me to have an unfill tomorrow, they are closed but maybe they will meet me. Otherwise I don't know when I can get back to them again. Just remember More isn't always better!!!!

Hi, I just had a fill the day before yesterday and the fill Dr. told me you would be violently ill if your band slipped. She also said that your band dosen't move when it slips, it's your stomach, comes up through it and folds over and thats why you get so sick. You'll need to check your paper work on when you can go to creamy soups, but It should be around day 7. good luck, don't be tempted by solids.

I was banded in May and I still get the shoulder pain I haven't figured out what triggers it yet. It's not as often, but it still happens. I just rub it when and wait for the pain to stop. Hope you feel better soon.

Sounds like the same place, they call it secret beach. very secluded... past big beach.. what a beautiful place, where did you stay? we stay in Lahaina. Oh how I dream of being there now

Hi welcome to the board... I was home 3 days after surgery and did everything i did before surgery.(except eat) I worked a 10 hr shift on my feet, mowed my grass and walked alot. My family always says I'm mentally slow anyway so I guess that didn't change any. I really haven't had any problems. my port is still a little sore and sticks out, but I had a tummy tuck years ago before my lapband so my upper tummy was still pretty flat. No one knew I had it done and they still don't. I am so happy I had It done..It is a life style change. but knowing the weight I have lost so far is gone forever makes me want to cry out of joy.. Good luck and ask away, everyone on this forum is helpful.

My nintendo wii came with the sports package, and I bought the wii fit seperate. They have them bundled together at some stores and on line. If you already have a Nintendo wii system then you will only need to get the wii fit, the wii fit is the one that measures and tracks your progress. and gives you the work out. It is full of different workouts so that is all you would need to get started. It is so cool and so much fun!!!! so to answer your question, yes wii fit is a game for the nintendo wii.

I just bought the system. I LOVE IT. my favorite is the hula hoop and dance steps. but I also love the golf and baseball and bowling on the wii sports. to much fun. I don't even feel like I'm working out

Hi, I left everything at the hotel and locked my rings and passport in the hotel safe. Just check with the front desk. No one I was banded with comes on this site, before or after, but still hooked up on the van ride to the clinic. They do an average of 8 surgeries a day, so you will meet others. I insisted on coming back to the hotel after my surgery, 1 1/2 hrs later. (tad bit to early) I was still pretty loopy. but I passed all the tests. so they let me go. I slept by the pool for 3 hours. I remember seeing a group of bandsters,(mama michelle, all canadian girl, evette and others but I was to out of it to say hi. you will do fine on your own. take care and good luck
