Does anyone have a list of the guidelines that keep the band and you healthy? It said things about not lying down for a certain length of time after eating, when to drink, how to recover after slimming, etc... Lately I have been living like I don't have a band until it stops me. This is not good and now I cough and get acid reflux. I want to reverse this and get back to living a "clean" band life. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you so much.

I'll let you know because I am going to try them at the end of August 2010! I bought them on line at a site recomended to me by a medical professional that is using the injections. She went from 315 to 164 so far. Of course she rotates the on and off cylces of the HGC shots. I am looking to get the last 15-20 pounds off. Barb

Dr Campos told me that he would move my port for me too. I would like my midrif lipod and the port sticks out too much as it is now. He has done lap band surgery and would know what to do. Also keep in mind that Dr Ortez and the OCC is only a couple of blocks away from Dr Campos' office. I went to the OCC to have my band checked while I was there in April for my PS with Campos. I was worried because the food program that I use (Kay Sheppard) has a huge amount of not processed foods, I was sure I had stretched out my band. But no, it was great and the doctor said I could keep eating this way...I was soooo surprised that I didn't get yelled at for eating so much! But they are healthy choices and Dr So said that was okay and everything looked great on fluo, told me to keep it up. He also reminded me that the band could tighten up for no reason at any time. I like it on the looser side so I can eat lots of high fiber foods. There are times that it gets too tight and others times it is wide open. I Love my band and because of it I have been able to loose this unhealty weight and feel better about the way I look, I would not want to be without it! I find that most people have problems if they keep the band too tight, let it be a support for you and don't depend on it to be the boss of your eating. Let it help you be the boss. I have my bandaversity in June, three years.

I would stay in SD this time because I don't speak Spanish and the staf (La Case de Lilas)and the owner didn't speak English either. While I was there, 4 patients left early because they did not feel comfortable. It was very hard to recover while doing sharaids to ask for anything, I think it hurt my healing more than helped it. Giselle, Dr Campoes nurse was a big help (she even gave me here personal cell phone number to call her, she was going to CA to celabrate her boyfriends B-day and still told me to call for anything!) and she will not recomend the place to other anymore. It was owned by a female bi-lingul nurse who very muched loved. She sold it to this Antonio and he is ruining her reputation and not going to keep bussiness the way that she did. He even moved the location to a 3 story condo in a busy neighborhood. Dr Campose has deals with the hotels in SD and drivers. Warning, he is a very handsome man and I was so surprised to see how much better looking he is in person compared to the internet photos. His hair is the color of a chocolate bar and he is as sweet.

I just got back from Mexico a few weeks ago for a face lift, eyes and boobs. The doctor was very carful not to do too much. The anitheiologist (sp) had me use the twightlight while the doctor worked on my face, then he put me under for the boobs. I was on the table for 7 hours. I love my doctor and the outcome. I have boobs for the first time in my life that do not point down! And all the loose skin on my neck is gone. His prices are great and he works with you on helping to transportation and where to stay, just talk to his surgery planer Giselle...she is wonderful and so helpful, they always answer the phone. Dr Campose took 2 hours the day before surgery for my consult and took pictures the the next day just befor ethe surgery. Barbar Sawyer highly reccomends him! I paid 8K for all his work, and everything else, including my flight, and 10 stay in a healing house. I will be bringing a freinds this winter to see him for work, we will stay in SD this time and all be there for each other...it can be quite a bonding experince. There were a total of 4 ladies at the healing house that had lipo and the fat put into their butts. They loved it, two of them were from my Dr Campose and he does a great job, I did not ask what the cost was, they were laying on their sides and belly and one lady said that the lipo hurt worse then the butt. Another lady was there to have a touch up and her doctor paid to fly her in for the touch up.

Thank you, I feel kinda crappy today and isolated...I was stuck in bed for nearly a month before the surgery with the flu...so it's compounded!

Dr Campos and Gissele both speek English very well. The TT is something that I had 17 years ago and it still is beautiful!!! Please check the price with Dr Campos and let them know that I reccomended him too? Barbara Sawyer The good part and I would do this....Dr Campos has arrangements with Hotels in San Diego for low fares for his patients. He is worth checking out. Also I would save a few extra bucks to have some help with the kids, even part time would be great, the TT can really hurt. You will love the TT.

Can't wait to see photos too. In Mexico, the dr charges about 8-900 for the first area and 500 for aditional ones. He also will take the removed fat and put it in your butt, 3 ladies had had it done and it looked real good to me.

I bought the one " From the First Bite" and I had a freind send me a bunch of rciepes (she lost 165 on this program and has maintained for years) that I wouls forward to you if you want. I don't use them, I cook and eat real simple, there are ways to make this program as easy as fast food (almost). I don't ever see going away from this totally healthy and satisfying way of eating. I no longer am upsessed over the scale and weight, with this program, I just went down and never go up and that is a HUGE first in my life. It only cost 30 bucks to have the band checked and the OCC wants us to do it once a year. PS cost 1/3 of US prices in Mexico, but can still be expensive when the $ is not at hand and there is the down time to recover too. I had $ saved for this for the last 7 years and decided that it is now or never.

Hi Bandsters, I am back from Mexico and had Dr So check my band. It is a couple of years old and a couple of the ladies that have gotten banded at the same time as I did have had BIG problems. I eat a food program from Kay Sheppard and I love it, but it has much more than the band rules allow, it has caused me to lose the last 15 pounds that I couldn't get off with the band alone, together the band and food program have been wonderful and Dr So said that I could keep doing what I am doing becasue the food choices are so good and the band is PERFECT! That was good news, and the doctor that I saw for my face lift, eye lift and breast lift was great too, his name is Dr Campos. His surgery schedual lady, Giselle is great too. The bad news is the healing house that I stayed at was a NIGHTMARE. La Casa de Lilas was to be a place to relax and heal and it turned out to be a stressful situation to say the least. The business was bought this last year by a man that does not speak English, he opened it up in a neigborbood of connected townhouses that had chainlink fences and barb wire on top, like a prison has, barking dogs and all. The aids DID NOT speak english either. The food was not good and the whole week I was there I had to wear sandles in the shower because it was never cleaned. "Eric" is the person that sets you up over the email but was never seen. Four patients went home early or to hotels because of the lack of care. I am glad to home so that I can finally rest. The first person to help me with a shower was my husband when I got home. Do not belive what you read they offer on thier web site.

When they do a TT (which I had 20 years ago) they pull down the skin from just above the BButton, so you should be good. My issue is above that area and below the (ladies) Prices are great right now because of the economy. I am seeing Dr Campos Good luck, you look have made amazing progess by looks of your pictures.

I am having some face work done in April and would like to have my midriff lipo done at the same time, will the P/S be able to do this? I also look forward to seeing you on April 18th to get my band checked under fluro. I look forward to hearing back from you. Barbara
