Thanks, I guess I am one of the few guys on this forum, I have not read to many posts from men.

I got the band at 730 am and went home at 1230, here in Florida

I got my band today and it was a piece of cake. (liquid lol) I have minimal pain and feel pretty groggy. My sites look gross but I will not be going topless for a while. Is it usual for the port to be so visible? I was told it is from the swelling, but it is very obvious. I am so looking forward to this part of life and I know it will be a good tool to achieve my goals. As soon as I can I will get a banner to post my progress. I took pictures also. A visual record helps, I was avoiding mirros for quite a while. Well, onward we go!

I am May 14th in Florida. I have had a couple of off days on the pre-op diet. I am loosing a couple of punds but nothing drastic. we do not have a presurgical weight loss requirement.

anyone find kosher shakes that meet the protein requirements? or a good multivitamin?

I feel the same now with one week, but it did not sink in till now. I can't wait. I do try to go to bed earlier to make the days go by also.

I am excited about next week, and have started liquids. I am worried though because today I cheated and had half a cup of vanilla ice cream.
