Everything went well.I will start by giving Dr. Ortiz the award of best side manner. My mother loved him as all of us too. Dr. Miranda is the best she gave me tips of what to and not to do. As for the staff they are by far better and more attentive than in the USA. I have been walking and talking while I walk to all the other that are her today. 9 total how amazing is or Doctor. As per our nurse never in the USA could they or would have they done what this beautiful ladies do. Hey WillT you have lost youre massage terapist, I'm taking her home with me. and she said she would come with me. As for everyone all the Docs and nurses are very happy that you all sent your love to them. Hey WillT i did it had to be down to 250 and I got to 251, yeay me. talk to you more latter, P.S. My 70 year old mother got more attention from Dr Ortiz than I did.

Well today is the day Im in the hotel lobby waiting because I couldnt sleep no more. Im so excite and cant wait to meet the Doctors. See you after surgery.

All is well I think. We are here at the Lucerna and it is beautiful, I'm glad they keeped it. Hopefuly surgery will be in the morning. They only drew the blood today, they will do the rest in the morning. Thanks for all youre kind wishes.

I was told to lose 15 i've only lost 10. My surgery is Tuesday, keeping my fingers crossed that they wont cancel me.

I have to wait 4 days till I get back home darn it.

It helped alright, plus thinking I would be turned away scared the crap out of me (get it)

Thanks Michelle that means alot to me, I just dont want them to cancel my surgery. And believe me this was hard. And I truely believe this is my last hope for a healthier life.

problem solved I am now officialy 255. 10 pounds down yeay.

WTG, glad youre feeling ok. Can I ask how much was you suppose to loose before the surgery. Im about you same start weight and Dr. Miranda wanted me to loose 15lbs. But i've only lost 7lbs. I go on Tuesday for the surgery.

Can I take one this close before the surgery? Because come to think about it I havent in 2 days.

I am drinking 3 slimfast optimas 1 at 7am 1 at 11am and 1 at 3pm. then at 7pm i make me another one but the GNC Chocolate caremel flavor. And I drink at least a gallon of water thru out the day. Thanks for you're help. And I walk Everywhere I go now, I use to be one those who parked real close to the store entrances but not anymore I park as far as possible now.

I have been doing my pre-op faithfully and I'm stuck at the same weight 257 I started at 265. Dr. Miranda wants me to get down to 250. Help, what can I do My surgery is Tuesday.

I know that feeling today I'm in a pair of jeans I havent worn in a year. I started this a size 22 and the jeans are a size 20. I haven lost much weight but its showing in the clothes.
