  1. Oh yes you mentioned JEANS! I want some without stretchy fabric and no elastic waist!! I loved to shop prior to being fat and now I HATE it. I am so on the same page as you Dianna!! I want to be a size 10-12, I think. Right now a 14 sounds good too!! I really want to make this happen by next summer. I know if I keep it up at Christmas I'll be able to splurge and get something cuter to wear too!!
  2. I am staying just 1 night at the Lucerna and they are also charging me $279 for everything. I thought that was a deal. How long ago did you have you fill Jacque? I'm not going to say anything but that was a great deal for you.
  3. I long to be able to wear a swimsuit without looking like Shamu ! I love the tankini styles and hope to be able to wear one next summer. Last year in February we went to Florida and I was at my highest weight 275#. We stayed at Innisbrook and they have great pools. Anyway there was this delightful little lady who had to be 80+ years out in the pool one day. I thought her to be in her 60's maybe and as we started talking I found out how old she was. Well as you might have already guessed she looked stunning in her swimsuit which was almost the same colors as mine. We took pics of us, yes full body pics, and that picture is the one that is forever in my mind to help me lose weight. When I get thinner I'll have to post it because it was sooo bad of me next to her especially. I also long to be able to buy a decent bra and panties set that match!!. Maybe even Victoria secret except I think I'll have to have a reduction for that to happen, maybe not so I'll also add this to my want list. Let's see what else. A short dress like I used to wear to church, not up to my fanny mind you just above the knees and with come cute strappy sandals and a Tan!! And I totally agree with being able to shop in the "regular"stores. I am a 22 now and just want to get into those "hip"stores with in style stuff again. Thanks for reading this long answer.
  4. I've not had a problem with bread yet but I havn't had a fill and hanv"t eaten much bread either.
  5. My dad has gotten alot of dental work done in Mexico with great results. I'll call him up and see if I can get the name and number of his dentist. He bot a few crowns and bridges and some sort of partial thing. I'll post when I get the info for you.
  6. Dolittle :lb13: This was a great all-inclusive post about the first fill. It really made me think. I am so glad I read this before thursday. I'm hydrating up as I type. Thanks again.
  7. You're sure right there. I also use the cpep machine and around 4 am or so it starts driving me crazy, especially if I am struggeling to sleep. My dog is the one on the bed and in need of her loving throughout the night. The cat jumps up usually around 6 am when my husband gets up so it's a constant battle. Not to mention my husband snoring away and sleeping like a baby. I am so envious of his sleep. My health issues are also diabetes, chronic pain from fibromyalgia, high cholesterol, and what else? I think thats plenty. And then let's talk about all the medicine I take....I sure hope this works to get all of the above listed gone!!
  8. I believe whether you have to lose 20 or 120 pounds it's a struggle, especially for women. It does NOT get easier with age so I encourage anyone to go for it at whatever BMI they feel is too much and find a Dr. who will help you.(unless of course you are truly anorexic or something which is a whole separate issue. Also no Dr. would put one in under a certain BMI anyway. I believe Dr. Ortiz is very reasonable in his practice to band those lower BMI's because it is preventavie medicine. Good luck to all!!
  9. I can't wait to go for my fill the 17th!! Especially after reading about Mona's sister's infected port. At least this first time I am going to OCC. After this maybe I'll have to try it locally but now I am scared to not have it done with fluoro!!
  10. LMAO about your new diet plan. It could be called "The Craptastic Crash Diet". Yes you too can lose 2# in a day without leaving the bathroom!!! On a serious not Mona I pray your sister will heal asap and have no more probs related to her band. Take car to both of you!!
  11. So cool, we ask and it happens!! I am up at 4 AM and can't sleep. I am so glad I have something to pass the time and this is the perfect category to type this in. Anyone else have sleep problems?
  12. I hope you are feeling better by now. The way you describe it it sounds quite unpleasant to say the least. I'm not sure what I'd do except call the Dr.s for sure. :lb4:
  13. So cool, what a cute dress. Thanks for sharing your pics!!!
  14. Love this ides. I have been doing better. I try and make sure to note the time when I am done eating to be sure to wait 1 full hour after eating now. I also drink alot before I eat also which I never thought of before. Thanks for all the tips.
  15. I chose Dr. Ortiz because I felt he was the best for me. I am sure there are may competent surgeons but iI also could not get insurance to pay so for the price plus the top ratings I am so glad I went to him!!! I was not disappointed in fact it was a pleasure ( except for the ggggaaaaaassssss, but I don't think that has anything to do with him!! )
  16. I totally agree. You look fabulous. :lb21: :lb10:
  17. This helps alot to understand the "feeling". Thanks Diva. For me I have to stop a little before I feel that or I overeat.
  18. I remember I was so excited when I was no longer a "Newbie". It's good to feel part of a group!!
  19. My favorite soup was from Safeway and it was their homemade Tuscan tomato& basil bisque. I ate sooo much of this and never got tired of it. I too had the gas pains and sorry to say nothing really helped except time. :lb4: "This too shall pass"
  20. I'm curious about this too as I have a fill upcoming on the 17th. Is this what to expect? How have others felt?
