  1. I actually weighed again this morning (bad idea!!) and gained another .5 pound. AAAAAGGGHHHHHH!! I MUST stop weighing every day or two so I can see my real weight. It's once a week for me from now on.
  2. I just checked out Thedailyplate.com. I found out right away how to add my food entries and it has thousands of foods to choose from. I'm going to use this one for now as it seems the easiest. I'll also check out the sparkpeople one when I have more time to figure it out. Thanks again

  6. Mona I am praying for your sister as I type. Keep us posted. You also are in my prayers. Sstay cool and don't freak. Remember stress is not good for our band. I understand the circumstances you are facing (sort of) as my sister committed suicide when she was 40!! Losing a sibling in any way is not what any of us plan on at this young of an age. Take care honey!!

  10. I didn't realize there were so many spots. I did signup for the sparkpeople one but didn't have alot of time to see how you actually just journal your food. It's got alot of stuff on it, maybe too much, I'm not sure. I need to make time to check it out a little more before I decide. I want something that is easy, (don't we all) to use. Thanks again all.

  12. I think for anyone who needs it combining another program with the band can only be an added bonus to your band. I do think also that for some just following the guidelines set forth for bandsters is enough. I am just doing that so far.
  13. Hi Erin: I too gained a few back as soon as I started solids. That was over 2 weeks ago and I am finally backdown to where I was. I really didn't change anything I just continued to eat about 1200 calories a day. Oh I guess I did change something. I started to exercise 3-4 times a week. I still feel that I am not losing yet as I should but amd not allowing myself to get too frustrated. I know this will work for all of us and it takes a while for our bodies to adjust to the new routine. :lb4:
  14. You are so sweet and generous Mona, :lb13: I am anxious to know what size she may have available. I too am going to gather up my stuff after another month or so and offer them here. Mona thanks again for the offer of help to all of us and just know I love ya!!
  15. The "late nighters" as they are called are also my problem as I work swing shift. I get home around midnight and the last few hours I am up used to be a binge fest. Not now though. I do eat a snack if I have to but I've changed those snacks into healthy choices. I saved 100 calories for anyone of the 100 calorie packs, or chew carrots or another veggie. I am working hard on stopping the late nighters but old habits die hard. I encourage you to just keep up your good habits and they will eventually overcome the old bad ones...at least that's the hope I have for myself and others with this problem.

  17. Lisa I love what you wrote and I second that. Phoenix where did you get this data on her food choices. It looks like a great way to add up what you've eaten easily. Can you share where you got this to help all of us out who are still struggling to get an accurate way to total calories for the day? And Mona all I can say is :lb4: Stay true to what you are eating and the weight will come off. I think the fact of eating too little is maybe your problem when it was laid out the way Phoenix did it. Don't beat yourself up because you know you are making the right food choices!! I wish I could reach out and give you a big old hug.

  19. LMAO!!! Yes thanks Michelle for the great explanation. I knew someone(probably you michelle) would have a great explanation and reason for me not to drink while eating. I was shocked with this explanation but it sure makes sense. I am so afraid to stretch my pouch that this problem is now going to be controlled to make sure it won't happen. I love the lemon and salt ideas. Perhaps at a mexican restaurant we could put some hot sauce like tabasco in it!! Thanks again to all of you!!
  20. I agree with all of the above. Now on the more tangible side I strongly recommend to pack LIGHTLY!! Especially if you are only staying the 3 nights they recommend. Use a rolling type of suitcase and leave room for souvenirs!! Don't forget your birth certificate or passport to get back into the states coming home. I'm sure others will list some more great things.
  21. I am so sorry you are sick. If you do vomit more than a few times and get worried put a call into the OCC and I am sure someone will talk to you. Hope you feel better soon :lb19: you are sick.

  23. I'm going on the 17th, returning on the 18th. Let me know if you can go on this date. I am already booked with flight and all so can't change at this point. If not good luck and maybe I'll see you at the Hotel if you will be there.
