  3. Hello all: I was wondering which online food/exercise logs people use and why they like them. I've seen some listed but couldn't remember and wanted to start this too. Any suggestions?
  4. What's Bobbi's screen name. I'd love to see her pics. Maybe someone can tell me where to find these pics? Thanks . You all know I am a bit computer illiterate, but learning quickly!!
  5. You do really have to work at getting that water in. In the long run it will keep you feeling better.
  6. :lb13: :lb10: What great results in just 3 months!!
  7. :lb24: :lb10: I can see the difference, you look marvelous!!
  8. I also had the bloating. It did pass....in one way or another. I think for everyone the period of time you feel like this is diffferent.
  9. I remember Dr. Ortiz saying to me it's not a question of how much we can eat after banded but how little. Try not to test it by overeating more than your Dr. advised to. I'm sure we've all had a period of adjustment after being banded but take it SLOWLY. Take care
  10. Did we get banded on the same day? If so I was wondering how you were doing? If not I am sorry to confuse you with someone else from WA. Hope you're doing great anyway!!
  11. Glad you're doing better. I think I am going to have to get myself a pedometer today. Can't wait to see how many stepps I get in , especially on a work day. Our unit is very large and I know somedays it feels like i've walked at least 10,000 steps. Thanks for the inspiration all of you
  12. Did your 3 months go fast? Keep up the great loss! What an inspiring post to really do some soul searching throughout this process. Thanks for your post.
  13. How are you doing today? Hope your home, or close to it by now. Keep us posted!!
  14. Thanks everyone. I'll try the tips and hope it helps. I know it's all in my head so I have to work on that too.
  15. How many calories are you getting each day? Are you taking a multi-vit? Are you drinking enough water? Are you getting enough protein? Are you just on liquids or eating food? Just some thought as to the fatigue. Also remember you are still recovering from an invasive procedure if I remember correctly you just got your band recently. The body must heal and that process causes extra workload on your body which can be tiring. Are you resting throughout the day if possible? Try going to bed just even 1/2 to 1 hour earlier than usual to get some extra ZZZ's if you can. Drink the Special K protein water to help with protein needs and fiber too. Try and get 1200 calories a day. Hope this helps.
  16. I know that we are not supposed to drink fluids when we are eating. This is soooo hard for me. I always sipped on water during my meals and had the mindset that the water would help fill me up so I wouldn't eat as much. To reverse this habit of years and then to not drink for another hour after I eat has been very hard. I just feel like anytime I eat I HAVE to HAVE a sip of water. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me? Any suggestions to help with this?
  17. I know what you mean about thinking about the pizza. The mind can be soo powerful. Take care and keep us posted.
  18. Stormy please call me so we can talk. I'll PM you also. I hear your desperation and wish I could help by just listening. Hang in there Honey you ARE worth this. Don't panic about the ankle swelling. I know that's easy for me to say but try and relax a little. This will work out for you. Let's talk soon!!
  19. How are you doing today? Hope all is well Randy.
  20. :lb10: This will change your life and I wish your family the best!!
