  1. Misty: My heart goes out to you for your recent loss. Yes you will see your mom again and know then you'll be truly in HEAVEN I too lost my mom suddenly and the pain is with me every day. It does get a little easier but I truly understand where you are. Keep your chin up and your weight down!!! Hugs to ya And about this clothing exchange I love it!! I'll post when I have my clothes gathered up to send to anyone.
  2. I too was denied by citerra! They strung me along for days with no communication from them and me calling them daily to find out. I made alot of money last year but because my husband's ex-wife screwed up his credit SIX years ago they denied me. Even after I applied without him apparently his credit affects my score. What a SCAM!!! Anyway I just had to chime in about Citerra. I think I posted previously after this nightmare I refinanced my house and it took about SIX months for this to actually happen!! So glad that nightmare is over and I did get banded. I know it was meant to be after all the hassle for financing!
  3. Sometimes I can feel mine and other times I can't. I am glad this is normal!!
  4. I love thrift stores. We used to have a Value Village right up the street but it had a fire and never came back. Much to my dismay.... I need to check out the garage sales too but don't have that much time on my hands since I work full time.
  5. I just read about this yesterday in our local paper. I HATE writing food diaries but maybe I better try it!!
  6. :cheerleader: I'm cheering you on all the way to taking their money!!
  7. I am so happy to see your pics Kimmy. I LOVE all pets too and your kids are darling. How are they getting along with your new little Daisy. And I thought my 20# cat Baxter was big!!
  8. Isn't it funny how our brain works. This sound like the way it USED to be.
  9. I think that's a great idea. As soon as my 22,24's get too big I'll post. I know that' pretty big but would love someone to use them. I too have nice stuff.
  10. I see them now!! Beautiful. In second grade I won a local beauty contest at school. I also stated in my acceptance speech I strived to be Miss America. Never made that one though. The name Julie does have the meaning "youthful", and that's what I aspire to be always as does your cat!!!
  11. :lb11: :lb10: You'll find many tips here on this forum. Take the time to read through some. you're lucky to have the insurance coverage.
  12. I'm so sorry but know how you feel. We refinanced the house for my money. I scheduled my surgery and even bought the plane ticket and then the finance company backed out!! I was so distressed. It took us 6 months but we finally got refinanced. I was so thankful and was ablle to get banded. I'll pray for you.
  13. Just happen to be looking. Still can't wait to see your memory frames
  14. You are so helpful Michelle. Thank you very much !!
  15. :lb10: Thanks for posting so soon. I love to see these posts. Have a great rest of your trip and I wish you all the best in you recovery time.
  16. Do not let anyone discourage you from doing this who hasn't been where you are. You are right about walking a mile in your shoes, people just don't understand. Yes it costs alot but I try to think this money spent now will help me to not have to spend a bunch more money later because of all the issues around being too fat, especially health care costs!! Glad you feel encouraged. Have you booked your date? I wish you well and just ask anything if you need it.
  17. I recommend taking 8 ounces for every 1 hour. That may be too much for you to do but it is what was recommended to me. If you just sip on it you usually can get it in. Now driving in a car though this much may make you have to stop every hour for a pee break so use your own judgement. If you are just riding in a car you won't get dehydrated if you just sip something and don't overdo it. Just take the packets of special K protein water and some crystal light to add to water bottles and you"ll do fine. Also bouillon cubes or packets to add to hot water from the coffee pot in your room. There are several lists of what to take, I believe one is in the questions section. Type in pre-op and it should come up. Hope this helps. Now to address your concerns about TJ...The area around the hotel is very safe. Many little stores and shops within walking distance. You should feel well enough to accompany your daughter anywhere she walks.
  18. What an awesome pic. And the view is nice too!!
  19. Dehydration can cause this. I remember you mentioned you are not drinking much water. Step it up Cathy no matter how you do it get more fluids!! Hope this helps.
  20. Me too.......I can stand up with the best of ya!! I've had some near miss situations on the job. It's funny because we have one coworker who has been known for YEARS to pass SBD's like crazy. she is the first to admit it. We all joke about if Suzy has been around when we smell something afoul. I sort of chuckle to myself that I am covered should I happen to let one slip out because all fingers point to Suzy!!..Maybe I should ask her if she has a band that we don't know about!!
  21. I love Benefiber . You can mix it in anything and it dissolves completely with no hint that it's in there.
