Storm, the best advice I can give you is to keep yourself busy and not think about it and push through. You are going to feel terrible if you spent all that time and money and then messed it up!
You can do it!

S: V8 Fusion
L: Tried to eat a beef and bean burrito but it came back up.

Ditto! I gained about half of my loss back after I went back on solids. When I got my first fill my dr told me that was actually good and that a lot of folks gain it all back when back on solids. When you get a couple fills in you it will come off again. Just be patient. You are doing good!
Here are just a few things I can think of...
How many calories are you getting a day? If you aren't getting enough you won't lose.
How much water do you drink?
Feel free to journal your food with us each day there are several of us that do it. Also, keep in mind you don't have much to lose, so it's not gonna come off fast. My last 20 lbs have been the hardest. Since about August i've only lost about 10lbs but i'm not letting it get me down. I know that last bit is gonna be really hard. I'd also be interested in knowing what type of exercise you are doing. That could make a difference too. Did you measure or are you going off weight alone?
OK sorry enough questions!
I sooo remember what you are going through. The best advice I can give is to mix it up as much as you can. There is a recipe section on here and really play around with spices too. Nothing like a little garlic powder in some tomato soup or tobasco sauce in some cheddar cheese soup! Get creative!
The first probably 5 days after surgery I just wasn't hungry and had to force myself to drink, but then after that I started to heal and the head hunger really kicked in. That and I think I just missed the act of chewing. But I promise you, once you hit day 22 you will feel like you can take on the world!!!! I have zero willpower and I did it so if I can do it anyone can.
Another tip is to keep as busy as you can. Head hunger is a real B, but if you can keep yourself busy and active it helps. I would go on walks, do things around the house and whatever I could do to make time go by faster.
Good luck and always know you can come here to vent!! Many of us have been there and done that!!
I'm always tighter the first two days of mine. I always make sure and take it easy those days. Also when I am sick I get tighter. I've heard quite a few people say that.
Morning all!
Welp, only down .6 this week but hey that is half a pound! I lost 4 last week so i'm sure my body is catching up so i'm not stressing. I'm at 142.6 now - so close to the 130's I can taste it! Hopefully soon!
Hope you all have a great hump day!!
I'm so sad I missed it! I have to work this Th night so i'm out.
Chad, can you or someone post when each one is coming around? I'd love to participate in future ones I really think it will help keep my eye on the prize!!
For me no restriction at all after my first. The 2nd cut out some breads but that was it and I could eat a little less. Third did me much better and I really felt a difference then the 4th and 5th had me just perfect before an unfill due to stress.
Like everyone has said, some folks get restriction with no fill and some take a long time. My fill dr. won't do any fills until at least 30 days after a fill/unfill. Many people feel nothing and then out of the blue two weeks later have restriction. The band is odd like that. Also, as you go on you will have great restriction and lose it after a while. That is what happened to me b/t 4&5.
Be patient and it will all work out. Good luck!

The thing that helps me best is journaling all my food. In another threat many of us journal every day you should join us! I also agree w/ the others that you might not be eating enough that happened to me for a while.
Plateaus suck! I have been on one since Oct and I think I have finally broken it. Keep your chin up!
Here here too bad you live so far away!!!!! I use Belvedere vodka which is a little more pricy but not rediculous. It as less sugar and carbs so I like it. Now i'm not gonna lie I use more alcohol than they call for and I also use some lemon/lime depending on which drink you are using. if you play w/ the recipe it is really good!
