  2. Oh with the day i've had at work I need a cocktail badly!!!! I'll have to try those!!!! Were you the one that sent out the skinny girl drink mixes? I bought those and they are sooo yummy!!! I need to reorder because I only bought one appletini and one cosmo - soo yummie!!
  3. I'd love to know about this as well. I'm not sure if it is a TT or lipo I need, but I have this wierd spare tire above my belly button that just won't go away. It looks like I have muffin top all the time and I hate it! I'll get a consult eventually but i'm trying to get money together first. I don't have any savings left.
  4. Good news finally to report this week! Lost 3.2 lbs! I really think the low dairy is really helping. It's tough, but hasn't been nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I haven't gotten in the work outs like I want, but it is a really busy week at work Thurs is my only night off so i'm gonna do Zumba or a run that night. But i'm kicking up the work outs! I've been losing and gaining the same 1-2 lbs since October (my brother's accident didn't help that) so i'm hoping this is a sign that i'm going in the right direction!! Hope you all are having a good week!!
  5. Sorry this is late - couldn't log in yesterday for some reason not sure if others had the same issue. B: Kashi Cinna Rasin Crunch (dry) L: Fat free spicy refried beans and tortillia chips S: 5 peanut M&Ms - I curse the person who put them on my desk!! D: Tuna noodle casserole and a few french fries Calories so far: 900
  6. Glad it went well! For me it wasn't so much about weight loss, but if I had some it was going to be a perk. You sound like how I was feeling - I wasn't going very often and it just felt so good to get all that out of me!
  7. I've done several of them and actually had a good experience with it. It is uncomfortable but mine wasn't painful and I felt fine following. Not to be gross, but man you wouldn't believe all that came out of me! However, I lost very little weight after it and was very surprised. But I was glad to get it out and it actually did make me feel a lot better. My lady told me though you should go several times within a week or two week span for it to really be effective. And no at least with mine I didn't smell or anything it's a very sanitary process. Good luck let us know how it goes!
  8. B: Kashi cinna raisin crunch cereal (dry) S: Almonds L: Sliced turkey w/ light miracle whip, applesauce and a couple of tortillia chips S: 2 small sugar cookies (woops!) D: Chili and some carrots and dip. Also two bites of a brownie! ugh! Calories so far: 900 Took my vitamins and calcium suppliments. I am also doing a liquid detox program started it yesterday.
  9. Also tonight made a dip with the tofutti sour cream, ranch dressing powder and some spinach and it is very good! Would like it to be thicker but I can play with that next time it tastes really good though! I've done much better than I thought I would on this. Excited to see what recipies I can come up with. I agree a moderate amount of dairy can be could for some, but not for me. Being lactose intolerant and allergic to milk they are a bad deal for me. According to my scale i've already lost almost 3 lbs this week, so i'll take it!
  10. B: Apple juice L: Tuna, hummus and pita chips D: TBA *Took my vitamins and calcium pills Calories so far: 400
  11. Sooo very jealous I can't wait to hear how it goes! I really want to get some lipo and possibly a tummy tuck but I just can't afford it now. Not sure exactly what I need. I don't have that "apron" of skin, but I have this wierd spare tire looking thing that is above my belly button. Looks like I always have a muffin top even when i'm not wearing anything tight. Not sure what procedure i'll need for that. Can't wait to hear all about it that will be here quick! But that is good - that way you don't have a lot of time to stew about it. Good luck!!
  12. Hmmmm good question! I would probably have them separately just because I wouldn't be able to do both in one setting it's too much. But I would probably treat the smoothie as a liquid. When I eat i'm even careful with things like applesauce and soup and don't mix them with other stuff. Not sure if that is the right answer, but I just err on the side of caution.
  13. I went to the store last night and bought some tofutti as well as some non dairy shredded cheese I found I think it says it is made out of rice. Anyhoo, I decided to see if I could replicate my buffalo chicken dip and i'll tell ya it tastes pretty good! Doesn't taste exactly like the real deal, but pretty good! I'm gonna go this weekend to a store that will carry much more of their line and get some other stuff. There is a store not far from me that it looks like has most of it. I'm gonna attempt to make a couple other things this weekend. I'm testing out the chicken dip on some folks tonight. So far i'm doing good! The very first day I totally forgot and ordered something w/ cheese and didn't realize it until about halfway through it! But since then i've been 100% good. I'm excited and hope this will kick start things!
  14. I just looked at their website and oh my goodness! They have ice cream too! Have you had that? I'm going to get some and experiment w/ some dips this weekend. Do you recommend any vegetarian cheeses? I've been told some taste very good. I'll check out the butter too - I don't cook a lot, but when I do I need a bit of spray b/c my pans aren't that great. You are all great thanks for your input!
  15. Up 1 lb this week - ugh! But hoping this dairy kick will kick start me. I am also getting back in my workout routine starting today. Since my brother accident in Oct I haven't been able to work out but he comes home today!!! Woo!!! So no more excuses I now have help at home w/ the dogs and what not so I have my me time back. Hopefully i'll have some great results next week!!
  16. B: Quaker weight control oatmeal L: Chef Boyardee mini raviolis S: Mini candy cane D: Random dinner night - was making a variety of no dairy recipes to try out. Calories so far: 800 Also took my vitamin and calcium Exercise: 4 mile run
  17. So one of the many factors in my weight loss stalling right now is that I eat too much dairy. Since it's lent, i'm not religious but thought i'd take it as a time to give up dairy. I'm not completely giving it up, if something is baked with a cup of milk or a little butter no biggie, but otherwise i'm going no dairy. I'm allergic to milk and lactose intolerant and it does a number on my body anyway. After lent i'll probably have it again in moderation, but not to the point I was I eat wayyyy too much dairy right now!!! So, just wondering if any of you do low/no dairy diets and how you are adjusting? I'm taking calcium suppliments but wonder what else to do. My protien shakes are soy milk and those are fine, but if tried to drink soy milk on its own and about barfed. A coworker told me about a food called tofudy (sp??) and they have a tofu cream cheese and sour cream i'm going to try. I crave dairy sooo much and love it so this is gonna be hard, but I really think it can help me get this last bit of weight off. Anyhoo, i'll keep you all up to date on how it goes, but wanted to see if anyone else has tried to reduce their dairy intake and how it went.
  18. WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!! That is so exciting! I know it kind of stinks to have it happen after the PS, but who cares it happened!!! Definitely don't be a stranger and let us know how it's going!!! Congrats!!!
  19. B: None (bad!) L: Sliced turkey meat dipped in low fat miracle whip and chips D: Lots of chatting and wine and I pretty much forgot to eat. Who does that!? Had some chips and salsa. Calories so far: 800 Vitamins: Took my multivitamin and so far two calcium suppliments
  20. Here are some mushy/slider foods off the top of my head: Cottage Cheese Pasta Applesauce Mashed Potatoes Soups Oatmeal (runny, I keep mine really thick)
  21. OK, i'm back! Had a blast in Dallas and now it's time to go to work! I am giving up dairy for lent (sorta) and so today is the last day - tear! Basically if something has dairy in the recipe i'll still have it, but no milk, cottage cheese, cheese on anything or alone, etc...This should cut my dairy intake by at least 80 percent. B: Apple juice w/ miralax L: Taco Bell cheese roll up and pintos and cheese D: Buffalo Chicken Dip Calories so far: 1,000
  22. You know I have never tried prunes - always had a bad rap in the taste dept. I really need help though so I might try them out. Thanks! I'm giving up dairy for lent (sorta) so i'm hoping that will help my situation a lot. I'm not completely giving it up, but quite a bit. If a recipe calls for milk or butter in it i'll still do that, but not having anything with cheese on/in it in terms of mac & cheese, pizza, lasagna, etc..and anything that comes w/ it i'm asking for it off. So my favorite pintos and cheese will just be pintos from now on! Wish me luck!
  23. How cool is that!!! Awesome keep up the good work!!!
  24. I am exactly like you with the wine! I have made such significant changes but i'm not willing to give up everything. I'll have some wine or crystal light and vodka sometimes and i'm sure if I laid off that i'd lose more, but I still want to have a life. I know if I would reduce my dairy intake I could lose this last bit too but again i've given up bread, rice, beer and a lot of fried foods and so I want my dairy damnit! I know if I kick up my workout routine it will help. Since my brother's accident in Oct i've been on my own so working out has been just left of impossible. But he comes home this week so no excuses getting back on track! I've got about 10-15 to get to goal and want that off by this summer.
