  1. Very true! I need new clothes, bras and shoes really bad! A lot of the refund is already spent need new carpet in the basement and some work on the car done, but there will be some for clothes and I am treating myself to a spa day!!! That dip was the death of me. Too many parties around the holdiays and I got hooked on it!! Only special occasions now!!
  2. Oh jesus let me tell you! They were a co-workers and I told her not to let me have more than that and she was a rock star! I asked for more and she told me no! One serving is 4 of them and that is 160 cal so at least I could account for what I ate. Damn you thin mints I love those!!!
  3. Lost 1.4 this week! I'm feeling like i'm back at a good restriction again woo hoo! Well, and it's amazing what can happen when you quit eating buffalo chicken dip every day! Hope you all are having a great day!! I'm headed to get my taxes done so hopefully some good news there!!

  9. Congrats on your decision! Everyone is so different on their healing. I had surgery on a Thurs and was back at work on that next Wed. My healing process took longer than most folks. Just take it easy and if you can at work get up and walk around as much as you can that helps. Lucky you that insurance will pay for it! That is awesome!

  12. I betcha all of that is the IV and water weight. No prob that will come off fast! I totally forgot to weigh in with having Monday off my schedule is all jacked up! I weighed today but I had adult beverages last night and that always jacks it up. I think I lost 1lb this week but i'll weigh tomorrow and see. Hope you all are having a great day!!!
  13. Yeah, rice was one of the first things on my no no list. My doctor told me after a PB to go on liquids/mushies for about 24 hours and then back to normal. Unfortunately PB'ing is a part of the bandster life, just try to do it as little as possible. Once isn't gonna hurt anything but do try to avoid it but know it will happen again. I can do chicken but if it is reheated or dry at all it's coming back up. So when I make it at home I marinate it in italian dressing and if out I make sure I have something to dip it in. I know how you feel about it feeling better once you are done. Its an almost instant relief!

  15. Pretty much agree w/ what everyone has said here. A. I'd have a new fill doctor quick! Anyone treated me that way i'd be gone! I think you still have a good chance to make this work and I wonder if they would even do GB on you at that low of a weight? Not sure what the requirements are but at 212 I wonder if they would even consider you. I'd try to make the most of what you have and the first step to that would be finding a new and more supportive place to get fills. Good luck!

  17. I agree I wouldn't worry about that weight it will come off in no time! My friend who isn't banded and eats really well somehow gained 10lbs on her honeymoon! A lot of that is probably the alcohol so no worries. I'm sure you had a blast!!! I am so jealous!!!

  21. Congrats to you all!!!!! I am so glad that everything went well and I can't wait to see your progress!!!!! I'm so jealous for you all that get to meet each other and bond before and after your surgery. When I got there everyone for that day had already gone in and they decided at the last minute to do my surgery that day instead of the next day which was my scheduled date.

  23. Post fill diet so a bit wierd but i'll post anyway... - Applejuice - V8 fusion drink - Small bit of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese Dinner will be interesting. Supposed to be on mushies but am going to a birthday party at a family style italian restaraunt. The mac and cheese went down fine (ate that as a tester) so as long as I stick w/ noodles I should be fine. Calories so far: 470
  24. Ohh yeah so sorry you are in banster hell! Best advice I can give is to eat really slow and also to do some Fiber Choice or Benefiber tabs. Those helped me around 10 and 3 when i'd get really hungry. Also, keep in mind at least for me this is when the mental stuff REALLY kicked in! Keep yourself busy - at night don't just sit around and watch TV - find things to do to keep you busy. It WILL get better I promise!
