  1. I did that protein water as well and I really liked it - tastes like kool aid! Yeah, each person is so different. I remember when on liquids I didn't loose a ton. Don't remember how much, but it wasn't really noteworthy. Then when I went back on solids I gained I think half it back but I didn't freak my doctor said that is normal. Once I had two fills is when I really started losing. Mine is going really slow now, but I am close to goal so that doesn't surprise me. You just need to play around w/ your calorie intake - journal your food and take notice of those weeks you do well. If you start working out don't be surprised if you plateau. Also measure!! I sooo wish I would have done that I kick myself now for not doing it. Plenty of times where the weight wasn't dropping but my pants sure were! Remember this is a process so don't get frustrated. Also, don't compare yourself to others everyone is different and is going to lose at different rates. Good luck!

  3. That is awesome congrats!!!!! Kristi, I am same as you I am about 5'2 and my goal is 135. That still puts me as overweight according to BMI, but I don't really believe in all that. I am toning up a lot and to me 135 would be great.
  4. Before your fills that is the time for you to practice good habits. You probably could stretch your pouch, but is unlikely. But you really want to get into those good habits early. For me the hardest was drinking and eating, but if I can do it anyone can!! It is still tough sometimes, but just don't keep any drinks near you and it helps. I stick with a rule where I can drink right up until I eat then nothing for 45 - 60 after. Really depends on what I eat if it's more hearty I wait 60.
  5. Mine depends on if I work out that day or not, but I try to stay around 1,000 to 1,200 calories a day. If I am training for a race or work out that day I go for more towards 1,500. Everyone is different, but for me if I don't eat enough I don't lose where some folks have to stay low calorie to lose. Really just depends on the person. But for me must get those calories in!

  7. Hey girlie...sorry I totally forget to check this profile thing! There is a lemonade one and also a raspberry one and a black cherry that I really like. All those as long as you ahve a really good vodka (don't buy the cheap stuff) and it tastes good and is not so bad calorie wise.

  8. Up 1.4 this week - thank god I get another fill tomorrow!!! Being unfilled sucks!! Although good news is I think I am the same weight since my last fill, so that is a small victory. Hopefully this fill will get me back to where I was before the unfill. Great job everyone! Hopefully I can get back to the "losers club" soon!

  13. Great job girlie!!!!! Wow, that has to be such a great feeling. I am hoping I can get into a size 6 and I just might cry when I do! I was actually at Ann Taylor the day I got into 10s and I danced in the dressing room! Kudos to you!!!!

  16. Everyone is different, but I had no restriction until after my 2nd fill and even then it wasn't until my 4th that I really felt like I was at a good spot. But with each time I could definitely eat less! I did the same thing I actually had a protein shake for breakfast b/c I was scared. Lunch was chef boy ardee ravioli and then dinner was pizza (work meeting I had no choice). I was freaked out and took like 30 minutes to eat one piece but it all went down fine. My first stuck episode wasn't until after my 2nd fill - was on an english muffin. Just take your time and if you feel stuck stop right away. Good luck!
  17. OK I just had an NSV and had to get on here and tell you all about it. So I have a washing machine that tends to "walk" when I put too much in it. So usually my way to fix that was I would sit on top of it. So tonight put some blankets in there and heard it start walking so I went down there and sat on it and apparently I don't weigh enough anymore because it moved my ass right along with it! I was laughing so hard and the dogs were just staring at me like I was crazy! Anyhoo, guess I need a new method of dealing w/ my crappy washer now. Good problem to have I guess - made me laugh! Oh and last night my niece told me to move my little butt - that was a good one too!
  18. So glad to hear how you are doing!! Been wondering where you have been!! I want a wii fit sooo bad but I just can't afford it now. But hopefully this spring.
  19. I've been doing WW since my unfill and it has helped. Once I can get back up to normal restriction I won't need it. When you have a good fill you just need to listen to your body and stop when you are full. My fill nurse said she wants me at 1200 calories a day and closer to 1500 when i'm working out. I have started running and so she wants me to eat more on the days I run. Each person is different, but for me when I don't eat enough I don't lose. You just need to figure out what is best for your body. Good luck!
  20. I need to do a detox as well. I might do that through next week need to look at the calendar and see what i have going on. I don't know how moms lose weight - i've been eating w/her and eating nothing but crap! She just offered me a marshmellow and it took all I had not to take it! Trying to be good!
  21. I am 1 1/2 years out and I have pain today from shoveling the driveway. I also get it when I bend over to scrub the bathtub and things like that. It is reminding me that its there!
  22. Congrats everyone you are doing fantastic!!!! I lost the 1.6 I gained last week from TOM and lost another .4 so 2lbs lost this week. I have another fill next week so hopefully I can get back to where I was b/c I am getting really hungry b/t meals and not making good decisions. But I did get back to working out this week so that helps. I agree with definitely taking pics! I took one every 10lbs and you don't feel like it is a difference but looking back it is really cool to see!!
