  2. That is awesome!!!!!!! You will be in the 160's before you know it!!!!!! Just stick with it and know those plateaus have to break sometime. Mine was from May to September - ugh! Good job!!!!!!
  3. Ugh I totally know that feeling! Only had it happen twice but it sucks! I'm usually a one and one girl and it comes up within a minute or two, but i've had a couple of those and it wasn't the same type of food either. HOpe you feel better!

  5. You look fantastic keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!! =D>
  6. I hate to tell you but chances are you will gain some of that back once you go on solids. You are depriving your body right now and once you go back on solids your body is going to hang on to every calorie for a while. But don't fret it comes back off eventually. Don't let it get to ya and know it happened to most of us.
  7. Weighed in this morning and am at 62 lbs lost. That is up a tiny bit from last week, but after my bday weekend I was up 2lbs so i've almost lost all of that which is good. So at least i'm moving back in the right direction!
  8. B: Jello snack pack L: Spaghettios w/ meatballs - got a few bites in and slimed then PB'ed - bleh! D: Soup at hand tomato. Well, tried to eat it and spilt most of it in my car. What is my deal with spilling this week! D: 1 pc of thin crust pizza which I also PB'ed - going on liquids tomorrow. Calories so far: 500 (including the upchucked stuff) Exercise - Went to the Y and did a class and it kicked my butt! It was like curves on crack my arms are gonna hurt tomorrow!
  9. This is my 11 month bandiversary! Wow...amazing to think it has been that long! B: Cheese and crackers L: Raviolis S: Chips and salsa S: Vodka and cran/pomegranite light mix D: Thin crust cheese pizza Calories so far: 900
  10. Soo agree the working out is so important! I have a friend that has lost about 35lbs and hasn't worked out at all and you can definitely tell. I've lost more than her but her skin is much more saggy and not firm. I know the muscle screws with my weight loss a bit, but i'm OK with that if i'm toned. Congrats on the 5 miles that is awesome! That is my next goal!
  11. Thanks so much!!! I've always looked way younger than my age, and now it's even worse! Now, mind you I don't complain about that i'll take it!
  12. I ate a nice seafood dinner, but I was put in for surgery a day early and didn't know that was gonna happen! I thought i'd have an extra day. For me TMI but I was afraid what might happen under anesthetic after a big greasy meal. Gross, but that was my worry. I'd say have what you want but don't go nuts. I went on this "farewell tour" of sorts on food before my pre-op and looking back that was really stupid and just caused me to have to lose 4 more lbs. Besides bread I can eat anything still (depending on the day and time of day) and so it was a waste. Good luck!!!
  13. B: Protein shake - spilt the majority of it on the way to work, but marking it down anyway. L: Soup at hand vegetable beef with cheese and crackers S: Snack sized candy bar (booo!) D: 1/2 cheese enchilada, about 4 bites of beans, and about 5 chips and cheese dip Calories so far: 600 Started on samples of juice plus from my friend today i'll let you know what I think. I tried the gummies today and they are soooo good! Gonna do some chocolate chewables tomorrow - not sure they sound good, but i'll see.
  14. Thanks everyone! OK, here are a few pics from this weekend. Sadly somehow I was talking too much and only took one pic at my HS reunion, but here are pics from the race and the Chiefs game. Thanks for all your support! You all rock!
  15. Work as hard as you can, but I know I didn't lose all mine and they still let me go ahead. Email Dr. Miranda and ask her for sure, but I showed what I did and made progress so they let me do it.
  16. Ugh I know right! I really just wanted to sleep all day but had too much to do. I got a little sunburned on my face at the game so had to cancel my facial, but still got the massage and did a haircut instead. Was a great day! It's still raining here and I hope it keeps up I love the rain and it makes me sleep really well.
  17. That is so fantastic! And I agree for sure - I've been within 5 lbs of the weight I am now since May but during that time have dropped a dress size. With my running i'm sure it's muscle. Keep up the great work!
  18. B: Cheese cubes L: About 5 shrimp and half a mozzerella stick D: The rest of my chicken fettuchini alfredo w/ broccoli S: Chips and dip Calories so far: 1100
  19. It is my understanding that it isn't an issue of the caffine, but the carbonation. Those bubbles will do a number on your band and can stretch your pouch. That is what I was told. I was told 6 months, but I still don't do pop. Was also told beer, champagne, or other bubbly things. I did beer one night but am also steering clear of that too.
  20. Ohhhh yeah that was fun! I was never able to burp pre band and now I can let them rip! The burping never has gone away for me, but the gas does subside, but mine took a good two weeks or so. After surgery I looked 7 months pregnant! Hang in there it will get better!
  21. Benefiber works wonders! I did the chewables ones that were a strawberry flavor (fiber choice) and they did make a big difference! I did them at 10am and around 3pm which is when I would get hungry. Try that out and I hope it works! For me the pre-op diet was the hardest - you can do it!
  22. Work that skirt girl that is awesome!!! I totally understand I still find myself going for the wrong size clothes thinking they will fit. Since my friends were in town this weekend I took the time to do some clothing inventory and got all the clothes out of my closet that don't fit and gave them to my friend. That way i'm not trying to wear things that don't fit anymore. I agree the need for new clothes is fun, but expensive!!!
  23. Thanks so much ladies!!!!! The weekend was fantastic!!!!! I forgot my cord that I need to download pics at work but i'll get them up on Tuesday for sure. The race was great and it went really well! I was able to shave a few minutes off my time which was cool and I really only got winded once after a big hill and had to just work on my breathing and got it under control. It was such a cool feeling when my friend and I came towards the finish line our friends were there cheering us on and we ran really fast. The 4 mile run was first then there was a 1 mile walk that some of my friends signed up for and I was so excited about my run that I then did the 1 mile with them! The race was through the zoo which was really cool you were running by the animals and it was just so pretty. The HS reunion was a good time and it was nice to see everyone. Ended the weekend by taking in a Chiefs game, but that one didn't turn out so hot! But I took tomorrow off and am getting a massage and facial I can't wait! It's amazing what a difference a year makes. This date last year I started a pre-pre op diet b/c I was afraid I wouldn't get all the weight off. So on my birthday I was eating everything in sight and drinking beer. This year almost 65 lbs lighter I celebrated the birthday with a 4 mile run! I think I might have gained a little this weekend (all alcohol) but now i'm back on track and excited and I come near my 1 year baniversary! My next race is gonna be a 5 mile in St. Louis around St. Pats day. I used to joke that the only way to get me to run was to chase me with a knife, but now I can call myself a runner! I'll have pics coming soon I promise! Got some great ones of the race and others from the weekend. Hope you all had a great weekend!
  24. Congrats on 70 lbs lost...wow, that is fantastic!!!!! You are doing such a great job keep up the great work!!!!!
