For my BL/Implants i was there 6 hours then drove to sandiego where we were vacationing. It was a very easy surgery for me. drove home 2 days later. Extended TT is a lot bigger surgery so you would need to stay

I was to scared to eat breakfast so I went for wendys chili and it was awesome!

I have not tried but I know if I went without I would gain. I still eat till my band says "No more" and without that I know i would eat like I used to.

I think its 6 weeks for baths and three weeks to start moderate exercise (no abs till 3 month)

Hi Margaret! My name is Margaret too. so weird to see 2 younger Margarets LOL. I was so hungry the first week. They say head hunger but I too was Hungry. Mine didn't start until day 3 and it was bad until I could go on creamy soups and then I was Ok until week 3 started. I still struggle with what is head hunger and real hunger. So glad your doing well and hungry!

I too did not Pb or slime for a long time. It was after my second fill that i did that was 5 months in. It was also because I got careless and took to big a bit and didnt chew. I felt like you and wondered if I really had a band because I could eat anything. Now I am tighter (not tight) i can still eat pretty good but at least Im sure they really put in the band

So 1 yr today I was banded and has been the best decision I have ever made. I have my health back! Thank you girls (and guys) as I know my sucess is because of everyone being there for me. You gave a newbie some great tips and kept me motivated! Thank You Dr O!!!!! 43 lbs down today!

It is really amazing the transformation that I am seeing these days.

I absolutely love my band and I just keep at the gym trying to change my body for the better.

Everyday is a new day.

And yes Determination, the jeans I am wearing are my size 12s.

Infact the pic sitting on the rocks was taken the beginning of August and these specific capri jeans are loose now. :lb21:

I drink coffee everyday. I have wine about once or twice a month. I had never heard of coffee being bad in fact lots of people use it to lossen the band in the am?

Welcome! You are a lucky girl to have the band and not have to pay for it (but it still was worth every cent I paid) Just wish I did it earlier!

well I was doing bloodwork for a plastic surgery so it was 9.00 am when I crossed into mexico and 10:30 on my way back. It took no more than 15 min to cross back into the US. 2 days later (after the plastic surgery) was 4:00 pm on a thursday and did take about an hour. I think the earlier you cross the easier before the line backs up...

I actually parked at the mcdonalds for a recent visit. I was gone no more than two hours and a tiny walk. I also got a Iced Coffee when back in the states. Its a very nice McDonalds. I also have parked in the lot right at the exit. I think it was 10 bucks.
