  1. Hi Everyone, I too gained this week...ughhhhhhhh I am up 187 from 186 last week! I knew this week was not going to be a good week for me, that is what I get for not exercising like I should have this week, I have GOT to stop making excusses of why I dont have time!!!!   4. Hi Everyone! My sister and I are trying to come up with some really cool ideas for Thanksgiving. In the past we have always had Thanksgiving at our Mothers house and it is just getting to much for her to do. My sister is going to start having it at her house and we are needing help to make it fun. Does anyone have any ideas how to start making fun Thanksgiving traditions that we can start doing every year. We want our Thanksgivings a time for Family and lord knows our family needs help with that..... ANY ideas will be great! Thanks Carrie

  9. Good Morning Everyone!!!! I am happy to report I am down from 190 to 186.4. This is a total of 6 pounds in two weeks for me. It is such a wonderful feeling after being on a platuea for SO long! I guess everyone is right, keep on doing what you are doing and it will break! Revy congrats on your 3.5 this week that is AWESOME! Angie, You are very welcome! I think you are doing an AMAZING job and look at you ALREADY in the 230's.. WOO HOO for you girl! I am SO proud of you! Keep that WONDERFUL attitude you have and LIVE LIFE!! We so deserve it! Carrie

  11. Cherie, I just got off a 5 week plateau that drove me CRAZY!! I agree with Sabrina and others as well. I do think you have to eat very little. I have totally cut out snacks and only eat three times a day. I think changing things up is a good idea as well. Keep that food journel and the truth of the matter is (for me anyway) you have to eat health, really watch and not eat the foods that got you heavy in the first place. I thought when i got my band I was going to be able to eat what I wanted just little portions, was I wrong, maybe this works for some, but not for me. I did email Dr. Miranda about my platuea and she stated with me getting down close to goal that Exercise was going to HAVE to be my best friend. She told me weights 3x per week and walk 5 miles 3 x per week. As far as the diet, well it is just that, a diet. Try liquid yogurt for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 3 oz of white meat, baked or grilled with green veggies and a peice of fruit (apples, peachs were suggest from Dr Miranda) and drink green tea once a day. Another thing that I have had a time with is my water intake. I HATE water and this has always been a struggle for me. Try drinking lots of it. I have also stopped weighing all the time, once a week for me now. I am trying to just live and not worry about this as it has always been something that has always consumed my life. It is our time to LIVE. 20lbs is GREAT! Good Luck to you! Carrie

  13. Hi Kristi! Just wanted to give you an update on Operation Size 10. I went to Old Navy this weekend and I got in a pair of Size 10. I however did not buy them, they were very tight. I think Im going to go back and buy them this weekend. I think in the next couple of weeks they wont be so tight! Im looking forward to weight in tomorrow!!! I have been walking 4 miles everyother day and last week I broke my platuea!! My band tightened last week for whatever reason, so have not ate alot this past week. How is everyone else doing???? B-Drinkable Yogurt S-Green Tea L- About 4 bits of pork chop and 3/4 cup of Peas S-Green Tea D-1 Cup refried bean, 8 calorie yogurt LOVE LOVE LOVE this !! Im starting to make my Tea snacks instead of food... Doing weights tonight.......

Still pretty tight, but seems to be getting a little better B- 1/2 of my oatmeal S-None L-My new yogurt I found with almonds (no fat, no sugar, no nothing but 8 calories per serving) S-None D- Two bits of grilled Porkchop, 1/2 of a 1/2 of small sweet potatoe and 2 tablespoons of green beans Walked 4 miles today with Hubby....YEAHHH...Ate 1/2 peach after our walk.... Water 20 oz

  22. Hi Ladies.... Ok today is day 3 of my band being TIGHT! Im not sure what is going on, any suggestions?????? I dont have a TOM, Im a little stressed ????   23. Ok...Not sure whats up but yesterday and today has been EXTREMELY tight for me.....   25. CHARELLE, I too agree with Debbie. You are SO close and it will be NO time and you are going to be kissing them GOODBY!!! Ohh and you are chosing a WONDERFUL day to get your fill, It will be my one year band anniversary and your first fill, that is just too cool!!! I promise you are gonig to see such a difference once you start getting fills. Hang in there and your numbers will be dropping sooner than you can ever imagine!!! Carrie
