The scales and I are not friends..lol Someone else can pick the time, I does not matter to me....I try to do it no more than once a week.....Any suggestions?????? Carrie

I was reading a post that Kristi had started and was talking about Operation Size 10 and Shelby had made the comment that she weighs on Wednesdays. She started this GREAT idea of posting what we eat for the day, (I know it holds me accoutable, cause I got to post what I ate)...SOOOOoooooooo what about a "Weigh in". We could pick the day, once a week, every two weeks, once a month, what ever everyone wants to do and post your weight if you like or how many pounds down or up you are since the last weigh in. We have our food logs, that tells if we have been exercising, what we have been eating and how much we have been drinking. This will let you look back and see "when" the pounds really started coming off??? Just an idea, what do you think? Carrie

SDGirl, I too agree, I think the same thing. I am restricting myself. I have vowed to eat "little" until the 18th. I have not lost ANYTHING in the past month, so therefore I am trying to switch it up a little. When reading yours, I think that is not alot of food at all!!!! Carrie

OMGoshhhhhhhh am I just going have to add ALL food to my NO NO list...lol Ok here I go B-2 Scambled Runny eggs S-Protien Shake L-1/2 cup cottage cheese, Bananna and Peach.....I was only going to eat a "few" mulit grain thin crunchy crackers, but ate ALOT of crackers...Guess they are too much like chips......ughhhhhhhhhhhh S-NONE!!!!! Already had enough multi grain crackers! D-Son has First Football game of season tonight...GO RED DEVILS ! Soooo I have to go straight from work. I am going to take water and a Meal Replacement Protien Bar with me and Put my BLINDERS on my eyes so that I cant see the Concession stand!...lol **Mental Note*** Carrie you can not have Nachoes, PopCorn, Candy, etccc. NOTHING! 20 oz of water ..gonna drink more this afternoon!

Tracie! I HATE P90X....LOL Honestly it is an AWESOME workout that kicks my butt everytime! Hubby is on Month 2, the one that has one arm push ups..etc.. I have a LONG ways to go before I can keep up with him. I try to "do your best and forget the rest"...lol but that is easier said than done! I just walk by him and say .."you go baby" and just keep walking...lol Carrie -

lol @ Angie !!! Thanks, I feel like I need to go to AA for scales or something, I never knew it was going to be this bad and I just thought my Hubby was obsessive...lol Story for ya.... My Husband has became OBSESSED with P90X and eating ONLY good foods, which is wonderful, very proud of him. If I want to cook something he wants to know how much protien, how many calories...blah blah blah...lol ANYWAY I LOVE sparkpeople and their recipes. I found a reciped called P90X Island Tenderloins !!!! HE was SO excited and told he EVERY one at work what we were having for dinner last night...lol Honestly, the BEST I have ever cooked!... and men say WE are the Drama Queens...lol Carrie -

Kristi! That is AWESOME~ I also have decided to stay off the scales until the 18th of this month which is a HUGE step for me. I normally weigh myself at least 2-3 times a week. It is SO hard not to get on them! You are going to be in those 10's before you know it! Good luck to you, Carrie -

Must be a FULL MOON...LOL B-Protien Shake L- Turkey Patty and 1/2 cup cottage cheese S-Two OREO COOKIES. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH D-3 oz Pork Tenderloin Very thin cut with 1/2 cup to 1 cup of pinto Beans 40 oz of water...Much better, that is good for me!

Wow how the holiday weekend flew by~! B-Protien shake made with water (110 calories) S-None L- Small turkey patty (?) S-None D - Protien Meal Replacment Bar and a peach. S- Mixed Nuts....going to have to get them out of the house. I cant seem to pass them up..I ate about two handfulls. Water - 24 ozs

Welcome Margaret! LOL, I tend to have to completely stay away from something if I know its not good for me or I will make an excuss to have it, Ohhh well I will go home and work it off and guess what...so therefore I gotta stay away. I am going to make a goal to be in the 189 by my birthday which is in 10 days, I have about 6 pounds to go so there for I am going to do the 5 day pouch test, but Im going to stay under 600-800 calories a day for the next 10 days.....I was thinking last night, on preop I had shake for Breakfast and Lunch and Line Cuisine for Dinner, which is about 600 caloires and lost 16 pounds in 17 days. I However was coming down from ALOT of calories per day. Thanks for sharing! Carrie

Sabrina, YES, I totally blame it on you...lol....I knew I was going, just not twice with in an hour and half of each other. The guy working looked at me like I was crazy and just said.. "Welcome to Starbucks, what can I start you with...lol I will have to try that one, that could be my birthday gift to myself on the 18th! Carrie

Hey Shelby! That is too cool about your B-Day and yes that would be great, I need someone to keep me in check! The chips and dips I only eat when I go to the Mexican resturant, I will not allow them in my house...lol. The Ice Cream is just hard, I dont keep it in my house, however I will drive and get it. Ice Cream is going to be a big one for me but I am going to do it.... Good Luck to you! Carrie

Hi everyone ! B- I had a carmel Frap and the a latte about an hour to two hours later from Starbucks......SO BAD! L- Nuggets from ChickFilLa D-Small thin Turkey Patty and a peach S- Muching on Almonds as we speak....... 20oz of water ...ughhhhhhhhhh No More Starbucks for me until September 18th!

I dont know alot about the slippages, but I am scared of this as well. I think Lisa is correct. I know for myself I have been catching myself "relying" on the band to let me know when to stop and that is not how it is suppose to work. I should be measure my food instead of eating until my "band" lets me know to stop. Sabrina, Thanks and I think you are correct and this might be why I have struggled so much with what my number should be calorie wise. I have not lost one pound in almost a month. I have until the 18th of this month to loose my monthly five pounds or so that I have been loosing. I am going to give it an honest shot, start weighing my food and stay away from the no no foods. Ill see what happens..................... Carrie

Hi! You know, this morning I woke up, got dress to go shopping and the first place I drove to was Starbucks. Got a Carmel Frap (not even light). Called my mom who I was going to go visit before shopping to let her know I was on my way. Hung up and my phone started Ringing. It was my sister who wanted to meet me at my moms and take her to where ..lol...Starbucks for Coffee. I got to my moms house and about an hour found myself right back at Starbucks with my sis and mom, ordering a Latte'...from Starbucks.. .WHAT THE HECK!!! That was a double NONO...lol ANYWAYS................................. I thought this might help with the NO NO foods that we have a problem with. The idea is to make a goal and pledge not the eat these foods for that period of time. If you do, we can come hear and confess, get our forgiveness (support) from others and get back on track. I pledge to stay away from ICE CREAM, CHIPS AND DIPS and STARBUCKS until September the 18th, my Birthday! (starting tomorrow)...lol. I will make a new goal (pledge) after this date. Thanks guys! She had been fighting really hard for the past three years and it finally won. She was a GREAT lady, she found out she had it when she was 45 years old, that is so young! Carrie
