Hello everyone! I wanted to stop in to say hello and see how everyone was doing. This time of year gets really busy for me at work and we also just went to a new computer system so it has been horrid the last couple of months at work. I just got my first fill yesterday from PS surgery, was without a fill for right at 3 months. I did not gain, but did not lose either. Soooo I still am sitting at 181. . These 180's have been HELLO for me.ugghhhhh SOoooo ready to get out of them. Shelby you keep telling me I will but I am REALLY starting to worry...lol I am x-ing my fingers this fill will kick start something...lol He was going to start me back around 1.50 but only put in 1.20. I was on liquids yesterday and I will stay on them through today. I am doing great since my PS and I have my final appt on the 24th of this month. I will be able to take my after photos, looking forward to that. Everything has healed pretty good, there is one place right beside my belly button to the left about 4" long that we have been watching from get go that we think may be holding fluid, that they may drain when I go back, just kinda puffy, is not laying flat like the oppsite side is. Girls are doing great, cant wait to get in a bra! Wow did I just say that....lol Everyone looks great! There is alot of new people that I am sorry I have not gotten the privileage to speak with, Angie work your magic girl! Debbie, Im sure you are getting so excited! Thanks for sharing. I have not got a chance to watch it yet, work has been SO very busy! Summer is ALWAYS bad time for me. I need to just take time out one weekend and catch up! Hope everyone is doing great! Carrie

Hi Debbie! I am doing great, my belly button is starting to look alot better. This week has been good. I dont have the pull feeling as much and dont have to hold myself to stand straight up. I did walk yesterday for the first time for 50 mins and that went really well. Was pretty proud of my self. Just cant wait for the three months to be up to have my final result, kinda excited to see the before and after pics! I have decided NOT to get a fill for right now. I am not stomach hungry and I really think I was too tight last time and did not loose the weight. I am going to start back measuring and really hit the exercise and see how it does. If I start having the hungry feeling I will go get a fill, but not until then! I am going to do this for me, I really need to use the knowledge that I have learned and use it! This is a lifestyle change !! I am going to work really hard this weekend I WILL be at 179 xing fingers by wednesday weight in!!! How are things going with you?

Hi Debbie! I was SOO sick from anthesia, I always get this way, no matter how much they give me to try to prevent it, it just dont happened. So glad I got a complete unfill. I was sick waking up out of surgery, a little over 6 hours, and I dont really remember the drive home, I slept. As soon as I got out of the car, I got sick all the way into the house. That night eveytime I moved my head I got sick. I did have a presciption for phenergan which I only had to take that night. Honestly I felt ok the next day after I got home. Got home on Tuesday evening and Sunday monring I was going crazy to get out of the recliner. I put on a pair of loose jeans and told hubby I wanted to go eat breakfast and go do our shopping. (EVERY Sun morning, we go to church, to Ihop for breakfast and then to Wally World and Sams). We that was not the brightest Idea I have had..lol. I had to be really careful sitting down and pulling myself out of the car. Hubby did help, could not reach to pull the door close. Sitting in I-Hop was not too bad, got a booth so I could sit alittle different, coming out was ok until I stepped off the curb, did not realize how much you leg streatches out to step down......Wal-Mart was ok, just walked really really slow..lol...Sams I was ready to GO home! I started having a really bad burn feeling everytime I took a step, as a matter of fact hubby went and got the car and helped me out of Sams into the car...BAD IDEA! I "felt" better but I was no where near ready for all of that. I am 3 weeks and two days post and I still can not sleep through the night and most mornings when hubby leaves around 430, I come and get in my recliner. It still feels really really tight when my legs layed all the way straight in the bed. My boobies are driving me crazy!!!!! The are still itching and are VERY sore every night and morning. Not sure why, unless I am just so busy durning that I dont really notice??? When I sit up from laying in the bed, I can feel the implant move. Right now I am going through this healing process and my belly button is taking the longest! I sit pretty much all day at work and for three weeks I have worn a binder. (life saver!, feels like my insides were going to fall out without it). Well It caused me to get a fungus in my belly button from sitting, not letting it having air so to speak. So I am treating that. My boobies are healing really great still have some scabs, but most ALL are gone. I have a place on my right side that is very very smooth and you really have to look for the scar WWoooo Hooo, that is a good sign! I am using a scar cream now called Mediderm, it is around $25 a tube, small tube, but goes a long ways. I dont have any regrets at all, the healing process is just alot. Like I said I have never really had pain, just pull burning feeling, but I just want want everything heal and me be on my little way and this one, it is not happening, AT ALL! You also have to remember I was cut hip to hip, and then straight up for my Ext TT. The for my boobie lift, I was cut under my boobies, up the middle of my boobies and then my nipples but back on...Soooo as far as laying in the bed, I think alot of mine had to do with the cut that when straight up.... Debbie, I would say as far as the hotel, make sure they give you LOTS of pillows. I really had an issue with the bed! As far as the drain tubes, my Doc does not use them. He thinks there is a greater risk of infection with them, sooooo I was drain free! As for as the laxatives, I just used a mild womans cheepo laxtive pill and please use them!! I went to the Doc on Tuesday, everything is going pretty good. Go back in 3 months! Carrie

Hi Debbie, Thank you! The post op is going. I am a "bounce back " kinda gal so to speak. I have had surgeries and get over them really quick. This one I have had to learn to be patient and be careful with my self. The healing process just takes time, it took me almost a full two weeks before I could sleep back in my bed. Everytime I would try to lay flat, the pull was just to much, no matter how I tried to position myself. As far as the look, it seem to change from day to day. There are some areas that I am concerned, (puffy spots) about but the Doc toldnme it takes time, everything will be fine. I go back tomorrow for my three week check up. Iam EXTREMELY happy with it....Now just ready to get where I can exercise and go back for a fill.... Are you getting excited? Carrie

Sabrina, Yep I kinda bounce between 83-85. Yesterday morning I weighed and I was at 180.2. Still hanging in those 180's! So frustrating, not to mention I have NO fill at this moment. I go back to the Doc Next Tuesday. I will find out then if I can go back for my fill. I thought about not getting one, but it would have to be all me staying away from the NO NO food and I just dont know how well I can do with that. I have not done bad at all today, except for the Frappe I had for Breakfast this monring, but I had a cup ofTurkey Sausage Gumbo for lunch and a cup of Taco Soup for Dinner, then I had some strawberrys for night snack. Sooooooooo I will just see how it goes. When you had your complete unfill, what would you say was the reason you gained some weight? Was it more the food choices, the portion size, or maybe just high calories foods? Always curious with this one..... Carrie

Yep, I know where that is...I live in Lufkin. It is about three hours from Dallas.....I have a few friends from that area, the Company that I work for, our home office is in Dallas. I dont know if anyone answered your other question, but most of us on this forum, not all, was banded at the OCC which is in TJ Mexico....GREAT, WONDERFUL, BEST, AWESOME, Experience EVER!! I know my decision in taking this route was that my insurance would not pay, so I was selfpay. I researched and researched, was talking to another Doc out of Mexico, but then came across Dr. Ortiz and the information I came across was hands down the best.... Have you decided when and where??

Pammie! I agreee with Angie, Thanks for the update! I have a total unfill right now from my surgery and I have been amazed at myself. I really thought I would go overboard, but honestly I am eating the same amounts...Im not sure if it is from me having surgery and everthing being really tight and swollen or from taking meds, maybe no appt or that this is just the amount I can eat and be ok with, whatever it is Im really glad! Please keep up update on your pouch. I SO hope everything is ok! You have done SOOOOoooo Awesome through this process! Carrie
