I didnt get an unfil. I had actually had one not too long ago. I thought I could have a tiny bit added and had an appointment but then found out I was expecting and didnt get it. I am at 1.6 right now. My doctor and I thought I would be alright and all has been good I too had morning sickness - BAD. I drank a lot of slimfast and ate soup crackers for about 2 months BLAH. But its much better now and I can eat pretty much anything as long as I take it slow. I just make sure that everything I eat is healthy so that I can optimize what I am taking in I have gained 4 pounds, and am 14 weeks 3 days. But I sure am getting a belly. I admit it is hard after losing and have PS so I have to remind myself that it is OKAY! My doctor is very happy with my weight and says I am on track. I wasnt a twig, I was still between 136-140 so all is good Good luck - feel free to PM anytime!

I think it depends on the doctor for the money hungry thing. Dr.Quiroz was great with me - I actually wanted more and he told me that it was too much to do at one time. There are doctors in the US and Canada who will push you to do more as well - not just in Mexico

I hear ya! Sabrina you are so right. Getting my unfil before was the best thing I did since being banded! Very excellent advice

hell Id say two sizes lol....when I went from a 16 to a 6 thats what I did. When losing, my last few sizes went down slowly and I went from a definate 9 to 8 to 7 to 6. I know some stores dont carry the between sizes, but others do. WHen a size 8 was too tight loose but a 6 was too tight, their is definately a distinction there!

I saw Dr.Quiroz at Cosmed in Tijuana. I had lipo but not right over my port, as my port is very close to my skin. I had lipo around my stomach/back/sides - quite a bit - and it turned out great. I do admit though, it was quite intense in the healing aspect - though well worth it! I bet if you email them and ask they will respond with whatever you need to hear. Better yet - attach a picture

I have a slight addiction to milk lol...I drink almost a carton a day, it didnt seem to affect me getting to goal. The devil for me is bread. When I was too tight and couldnt eat it, I lost like crazy. When I got my unfil and could eat it again I stopped losing. I didnt go back to eating much of it though (it still takes me forever to eat it) - maybe a few times a week. Too bad our bodies werent all the same so we would just know what would work lol

PS - baby name suggestions would be greatly welcomed lol

I am definately having a c-section. They dont give you a choice here after having two before. I have started to stretch out a little and I admit its a little uncomfortable - I swear I can feel my poor skin stretching! Nope - I was not a normal weight for either of my two pregnancies. This is the first time in my life I am at a normal weight. I am excited though to see a baby bump - didnt really have one before. I am worried though that its going to be really uncomfortable!! I guess time will tell. Thanks everyone! You should see my husband - he is so flipping excited, its ridiculous (my previous children are from my ex so this is his first). YIPPIE

I didnt read all the posts (sick today and no attention span). I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS! You have no idea how great this is going to be for you! It is amazing. Honestly, how good you think youare going to look and feel about yourself - it will actually be 100 times better take it from someone whos had it all done lol I am so excited for you - this is fantastic news!

OMG look at how amazing you look Donna! WOWZERS! Way to go! Yup - I am! lol - we actually tried for over 2 years. I figured its never going to happen, so I went and had all my PS in May then voila ha ha. Just hope all the work somewhat looks decent after lol - oh well, I dont mind another visit to TJ I am due in September - and unfortunately have to have a c-section, which freaks me out a little because I had my old scars made a little prettier as they were UGLY before. I had my ultrasound friday

They look terrific!!!!!! You are brave! I wish I had the guts to post before and after pics, cuz I have to say that I am very impressed with the work Dr.Quiroz did on me! lol - now that I am expecting, I may be visiting him again lol

PREGNANT I havent been on here much lately, but figured I would come share the news with those of you who care lol. I am almost 9 weeks. I actually had just booked a fill when I found out lol - so far so good I am having a bit of a hard time with not having enough restriction - but I have been so nausious that it is probably a good thing!

Being in Canada - it isnt just an hour flight and a hundred dollar flight to get to Tijuana. It takes me OVER 10 hours to get there, and anywhere between $300-$900 just for the flight. That doesnt include the 5 hour drive to get to the airport for me. It still would have been less expensive for all the work I had done there, to be done here even if I had to make 5 or 6 trips to TJ. Besides that point though - I have had other surgeries here. Cosmed was VERY clean, and that is compared to here. They are a private clinic so they work even harder at keeping it that way. ALSO - the quality of work Dr.Quiroz did was superior to what I had done here. I went to one of the top surgeons in Alberta and it did not compare. Cosmed also called me everyday for a week, and sent me a follow up email after that to see how I was after surgery - I have NEVER received even 1 follow up call for any surgery I have had here. Another thing, he did not charge for one of the smaller procedures he recommended - which ended up being a very wise recommendation I must say! Another point - it would have taken 6-9 months just for the consult here....which is what it took when I had surgeries here before as well. Also, I then would have waited another year to year and a half just for the actual surgery. I only had to wait a few short months for it all to be done with COSMED. I will only have work done there...and I do plan on doing so again and in fact plan on taking a family member and friend in the near future!

grrrrrrrrr hey. But you know what - live and learn you had fun and now you know to have fun, it will be more fun longer if u eat less - ha ha, I need to follow my own advice. I gained over xmas, I still ate a lot less than I used to but I went back up to 144. I was down to about 136. Jeez. We get pretty disappointed in ourselves hey - but guess what - we are human and I have to say both you and I have been doing wicked and we cant kick ourselves. Dont worry - before long the weight you gained will be gone! I am down to 141 again, but I swear it seems to be more difficult now....I am going to get my butt back down to 135. My problem is I either have to wait until Feb or fly to san diego to get my fill and I really seriously do not have 4 days to myself to fly there (It takes me about 12-14 hours to get there and another 12-14 to get home). Anyways - I am thinking I am just going to suck it up and wait till feb. Good luck! Facebook me anytime for motivation it goes directly to my phone

I have read all the posts on this tread. If I were you this is exactly what I would do - as you do not want to risk getting some horrible infection and end up very very sick or worse. I would (even if I had to borrow the money) get my butt down to see Dr.Ortiz. Seriously. I think its gone on too long and I am pretty worried about you. I think you should call the clinic first thing in the morning and get down there as quickly as you can. I know this may seem harsh but honestly. I had a c-section scar that re-opened after 1 year and it ended up getting very infected after it wouldnt close properly for a few months of trying - I almost died. They ended up reopening the whole thing and cutting off some of the scar tissue and reclosing everything which finally helped. Obviously all these other doctors are not making anything better for you and you must be very frustrated. I am sure you could make it a quick trip - but really, you cant play with this stuff - GOOD LUCK and keep us posted

Yup - everyone is different. I wouldnt have been able to go to work that quickly after surgery I had I think it was something like 2 weeks (sorry its been awhile) but about a week would have been ok, though still abit pushing it for me. Everyone reacts different to every surgery though. I have had 13 and some have been easy peasy and others like my Plastic Surgery I had in May - took me almost 3 months before I could do my regular work schedule and honestly its only been the last month and a half that I feel normal. The band of course was as extensive, but I personally couldnt have only taken 3 days off.

I also had work done at cosmed by Dr.Quiroz. Lipo, implants, he made me a new lovely butt lol, he also fixed a horrible scar and dog ears (from previous surgery where you could see where the incision ended). I have to say - the work is amazing. I love everything he did

what gets me through is emailing a friend whenever I am "screwing up" she keeps me motivated. We did really well! She doesnt have the internet right now and I havent been doing as good. Tried doing this with a few others but the emails are often enough. We emailed each meal (felt accountable)...what we weighed when we weighed in (I have to do it each day to keep motivated), any time we felt the urge to eat something we should have...etc etc..u get the drift. It really helped! So maybe if u have someone - or even posting on here lots might help. If u need an email buddy just let me know. I get mine on my cell. The only time I have it off is while I am with a client.

I travel a lot. Honestly, the only thing that sucks is that in your head you want to eat. But dont worry - it is worth it! My last trip was an all inclusive and I made it I was even too tight at the time and had to really limit myself

If your GP wont approve - find a new one! If they are not supportive in a decision you have personally made to better yourself and your health - they are not the right GP for you.

Yup...and last time we went away my poor brother in law got it going there and coming back lol
