  1. it's it just 5g of fibre per serving (2 gummies?) that isn't much at all. no?!
  2. This last fill has stopped me from drinking a lot of liquids - it's difficult & fills me up very quickly.
  3. I realized yesterday, after my weigh in that I'm now officially 50lbs down! I'm not where I want to be, but feel extremely confident the next month or so will be the crutial crunch time to really focus in on my fitness goals, rather than my weight. Eating clean. Exercising DAILY. This is how I did it.
  4. Hey Angie - just wondering how you're doing?

  5. Hello Pug Mummy!

    How are you feeling?!

  6. Pay out of pocket for fills done elsewhere. My fills here in Toronto are $150 each. And I've had 5 in total. And they don't use barium so it's really a guessing game, hence why I've had so many 'baby' fills to get to my sweet spot.
  7. I'm a bit confused ... you posted in October, saying you had severe restriction, and was related to eating french (white) bread. You've had this issue since October? And unfortunately, you still have to make healthy food choices with the band. A calorie is still a calorie.
  8. I've had 6 very small fills, since my surgery. I don't get my fills done in Tijuana, but as another clinic here in Toronto. My fill clinics' theory was baby steps .... they don't use barium. And only NOW, am I feeling real restriction. I've been able to eat pizza, for example, up until today - I'm now at 3.2 in a 4cc band. But everyone is so different. That's something I've realized after reading post after post, looking for comparisons.

  10. What brand of band do you have? Where you given a serial # of your band? The reason I ask, is because I do know that there are stories floating around doctors in *some* South American countries implanting 'no frills' bands.
  11. I think you'll be more successful if you go by the mirror & the way clothes fit. How long have you been dieting & working out for? do you have a time frame in mind?

  12. As a side note, you've started 2 threads, asking the exact same thing. While I can understand you're looking for 'advice', what you're asking for is something no one here is qualified to do. What you're describing sounds extremely serious. I gave you a reply when you asked this question the first time. I'm assuming you didn't like the response, so you started a new thread, asking the same thing.
  13. NO ONE SHOULD BE GIVING MEDICAL ADVICE.
  14. I know I gained most of my pre-surgery weight back, after getting the band. You can't drastically restrict calories, and then go back to eating 'normally' without the consequences. My advise would to start your awareness of what you're eating now. Once you start getting those fills, and you start feeling restriction, you won't be able to eat what you're eating now. My 'never again' foods include: -hamburgers -potatoes -anything really starchy, such a sushi But don't sweat it. I know a lot of us gained the pre-surgery weight back, esp if you only had to loose 5-8lbs to reach your 'goal' like myself. I didn't have a lot of lose, and of course, it was easy to gain back.
  15. I too get it every so often. And find a Zantac and monitoring what I'm eating controls it.
  16. no one in this forum is a "professional", nor can anyone diagnose you. please go see your doctor asap. this sounds extremely serious.
