I know I gained most of my pre-surgery weight back, after getting the band.
You can't drastically restrict calories, and then go back to eating 'normally' without the consequences.
My advise would to start your awareness of what you're eating now.
Once you start getting those fills, and you start feeling restriction, you won't be able to eat what you're eating now.
My 'never again' foods include:
-hamburgers
-potatoes
-anything really starchy, such a sushi
But don't sweat it.
I know a lot of us gained the pre-surgery weight back, esp if you only had to loose 5-8lbs to reach your 'goal' like myself.
I didn't have a lot of lose, and of course, it was easy to gain back.
