  1. Hey Debbie! Are you adding more fruit because you are wanting a more balanced diet, having issues pooping, are more hungry then before? Sorry for the 20 questions....I am curious.
  2. Sweet spot....hmmm I am not sure. All I know is that I am happy with the level of fill I have now. It took me a while to mentally adjust to this one......I was thinking if I didn't get my head around this fill I would have a smidge removed. Cha Ching! All is well, thank heavens! I was really not wanting to pay a buck and a quarter to have .1 cc removed......It's like paying for someone to drill on your teeth. Oh, not fun! I am a foodie, so the smaller the portion size the more I have to adjust. I know a few of my friends keep there bands snugger than a bug in a rug but I am one of the bandsters who has to slowly adjust to my new reality. Eating only a tinsy bit doesn't satisfy me mentally. Ya know. I eat all my meals and drink a protein shake to get my protein in. Otherwise I wouldn't make it. Today I had 3/4 cup of dry PB&J granola. 1 cup of chicken (boneless skinless) with sauce for lunch. (a 2 pk of saltine crackers like what you get with Wendy's chili) I had an 8 oz protein shake when I got home. For dinner I will have chicken and veggies! I would say a cup. I drank 72 oz of 0 cal beverage today. I am very happy with those amounts. Woot!
  3. I had short of 10 grand in medical. Plus we itemized several things. I had no problem going over the standard amount. You can use the travel costs as well. Sorry to hear your not able to deduct. : (

  9. Since being banded last April, I've drank a few fake beers. Slowly.....had not a bit of trouble. I suppose it all depends. I don't mind having one here and there. I don't want to get in the habit of being a total diet coke whore again. I was so hooked on that stuff and now that I am free, I want to remember and stay free. I drink a crap ton of vitamin water. Some propell or how ever it's spelled.....
  10. I should really be skinny.....just from clean up and chasing after my 2 year old. What is bad about the entire Protein Powder Fun is that as soon as I seen what had happened I ran for the camera. After I had play momarazzi, it was off to the bath. Then he was locked in his room until I got the "situation" contained. LOL Um....he didn't even get scolded....oh well...next time! All in the day of a mother! It takes seconds!
  11. Lindsay - I am well. So, how did your last fill go? I have to know more details ....spill it! LOL I am getting "re-focused." I have not been on track and dedicated for a while. Not super bad, but not like I was. So easy to stray and loose momentum. Glad to hear the fill is working and the weight is flying off! That statement is so very exciting!

  13. Yep, we have that in our house too! I don't use it much at all now. I found fiber gummies work much better for me. I will still use it, but I do plan on buying more fiber gummies. Glad this works for ya Linds!

  17. It is not much, but let me tell ya. I have not taken benefiber and have been having my yummy gummies instead, and WOW the difference in my poo poo is amazing! I am a believer. No more hard bunny poop. Now I have more curvey and larger movements. TMI I know...but results speak volumes in my eyes. Before my BM's where all over the place. Hard, soft, small, small, small. LOL Now I can say, that has changed. So far so good. Oh and I do drink 80 oz of zero cal beverages a day so I believe I am hydrated well. Do you have to supplement?

  20. Lindsay - how full do you have your band? We are all so different, but I am still curious....I have 2.4 cc's in my 4 cc's band. I got my last fill in December. I am still adjusting to the fill....struggled with my portion size on this one. Also because I got off "plan" during the holidays, I am struggling to get my poop in a group. At any rate....with each fill I have metally adjusted well, but with this one it has thrown me a little. Do you notice a mental adjustment or are you a-ok?

  22. Hey lady! Okay don't stress your pretty little head over this burrito. I would suggest you don't mindlessly eat. Eating in front of the computer, tv ect is an easy way to finish what you have had, and say...oh...where did that go!?? LOL Try not to do that....I know easier said than done. I am eating in front of the comp now typing you this message....ugh!
