  1. What is the difference between a TT and a EXT tummy tuck....?
  2. Nope - you should not worry one single bit. You will be in good hands. Don't stress yourself. Before you know it you will be picked up in a white van and taken very good care of. I've been a member or this board since April ish and I have not seen one post that said they had a bad experience.
  3. I had a seasoned bandster reply to me on this subject. She told me that in her opinion I had actually PB'd. Unless if stomach acid or vomit comes up, it is a PB. Well, this is good to know, but let me tell you....it felt much different than what I think of as a typical PB episode. I keep learning new things all the time. Something else that came as a suprise to me, this morning my stomach or stoma not sure which one for sure was hurting. Not terrible or anything just a dull - I am here...notice me hurt. So I decided to keep up the liquids. Soup for lunch....then I had a 1/2 of a cookie. Feels okay, but I think I will baby the tummy today. Don't want to risk an upset. On an up note. Took an antibodic last night and this morning for sinus pressure. I am feeling much better already. THANK GOD! Let's hope it was post nasual drip that caused me to toss the cookies. Ugh!
  4. Keep going in for fills until you feel like you are at a good level of restriction. I have recently begun to see some results in weight loss. I have had 4 fills in 4 months. Use this tool. If you are not restricted enough the tool is not working properly. IMHO - that is my two cents! Hang in there!
  5. Wow! Very impressed you didn't gain over your trip! You Rock! Don't cha' just love this band!!!
  6. B - Coffee with FF creamer L - Broc cheese soup from Panera Bread....yum S - 1/2 cookie from Panera W - 40 oz.
  7. Dang, that is terrible! I don't use the full dressing packet on salads, but geesh!
  8. Great post Carrie! We don't eat out much anymore, but this info is good to have.
  9. Okay! I am happy to report I am on my way back down. This morning I weighed in at 242.4. So that is 3.1 lbs for this week. If I wouldn't have been a piggy over my period......HA! Oh well, it was one of those times when the urge came over me to eat EVERYTHING in sight. Gesh! I love this band, cuz it keeps me mindful of not over eating to bad. Hope everyone had a sucessful week of weight loss. On an up note I am now in the high 30's for BMI!!!!! See ya fourties!!!!! I love saying good bye!
  10. That is awesome! You are making some good progress now! WTG!
  11. Andy - When I get my fills, I drink normally but usually don't eat anything or eat very light.
  12. I just threw up. Not PB’d but the full deal. My stomach rolled and my brussel sprouts and tine bits of turkey reappeared. I actually had 3 stomach rolling episodes. Now I am concerned. Normally if I have an “operator error” I PB, at which time I lean over, open my mouth and a glob of slim reappears with food particles. That is what it is like for me when I PB. This was not a like that at all, I had 3 full heaves. I apologize for being graphic here. What strikes me as odd is the full meal did not come up. My lunch was a turkey burger patty. I had eaten ¼ of the patty. I prepared 5 brussel sprouts and had consumed 2 at most. While eating I was listening to my body, and before this episode, I had stopped eating. Put the remaining lunch I had left in a container. I plan to have liquids the rest of the day. My stomach does not feel sore. I don’t feel the full satisfied feeling either….guess I am baffled as to why I tossed my cookies. TMI – since I eat lunch as my desk I tossed the cookies in a water bottle. Because I am a gross person, I looked the contents over good. Bits! Small tiny bits I tell you! I don’t understand it? It’s not like I was chewing away and swallowed prematurely. Anyone have this sort of episode happen to them? On a side note, I am ill with a sinus cold or virus. Could this have anything to do with it?
  13. Talk about quick! I can't wait to here from you Holly! Woo hoo!
  14. WOW!!! Your lips look great! Very nice.
  15. ((((((((Robbyn))))))))) I am soo glad to see you. I've missed your good cheer! Soundsl like you have had a bit of change going on. I am very sorry about the loss you feel when in comes to your momma! I hope you can check in with us from time to time.....I really have missed you. You are doing great! Off all the meds! Wooo hooo! I have a slow loss rate too. Not for lack of desire, that is for sure. I look at it this way, I am in it for life. I'd like to loose my weight over the next couple years. I am already off to a good start. I am down 35 lbs since April. Pretty cool! Granted I am not on the fast track, but hey a loss is good. I am happy with progress. Great hearing from you again. Angie
  16. The day I had surgery, they did 7. They have 6 surgical suites and then 3 over fill beds. One of my bandster friends Teri was in a over flow bed. She did not want to re-schedule her surgery. My surgery from beginning to end lasted a little over 30 minutes. They are very good at there jobs. I will say, that my incisions look much better and are smaller than some of my friends who had theres done in the states! I am pleased about that.
  17. Happy Birthday! Hope you are well and you are getting skinny! I am plugging along....

  18. B • oatmeal and coffee S • detour bar L • easy mac D • W • 40 oz
  19. Lanmom - Happy Bandiversary! Slim - sending you some virtual coffee to keep you going! HAPPY MONDAY!
  20. HA! I know it is a bit TMI but hey, you can always count on me to lay it out there! Oh I went on line to sam moon. Ordered some things! So you know your a bandster when what you consider a binge post band would have been a warm up snack pre band.
  21. If you don't have enough restriction go in for another fill. EVERYONE is different. You know your body. Do what is best for you. I know someone with over 4ccs in her band. From the sounds of it you need a fill.
  22. Stormy do you have Claire's in Canada? They have these "thing ma bops" not sure what they are called. They are used to size your rings! Thrifty and very handy. Use them keep your rings on your fingers. Sizing them only once.
  23. Melissa! You will do great! Congrats on your decision. Keep us posted on your progress!
