I am a 51 year old woman, married with 4 cats. I've battled weight all my life. I am the youngest of eight siblings, most of whom are overweight and one is morbidly obese.<br />Along the way I have tried every diet and diet pill out there. I had a lot of success on PhenFen (sp?) but it turned out to be so dangerous. I have never felt so good as when I was 40 years old and 130 pounds, size 8. But in the last few years, my weight has skyrocketed to the highest it has ever been, 199. Right now I am 187 but still so heavy. It really depresses me. My insurance won't cover me at a BMI of 30.8, so off to Dr. Ortiz I go!
Hi, how are you. I noticed you are from Yucaipa and I use to live in Redlands/Mentone are for many years. I sure miss it down South. Congrats on your weight loss. I was banded on Nov. 24th and lost 9lbs.
