  11. Thanks so much Carrie. That was very helpful and informative to read. I hate laying around so it was good to know that I am going to have to make myself slow down or it will be a problem for me. Once again thanks I really appreciate the details. Where did you buy that cream? I live in Canada so not sure if I can get it up here. Debbie
  12. Thanks Carrie. How many days did it take before you were feeling pretty good? Also any regrets at all? Deb

    You look beautiful
  17. You look totally amazing Carrie. What a year for successes. It is always so interesting to look at our pictures when we are heavy and then after when we have lost the weight. I don't know about you but when I look at my "big picture" I never realized that I was that heavy. You should be very proud of yourself. You don't even look like the same person Debbie
  18. Breakfast: Tomatoe Pie strawberries Lunch: Tuna 5 Breton orange Latte Dinner: Teriyaki chicken strawberries 2 Tbsp peanut butter Walked 90 minutes
  19. Yes I am soooooooooooo excited. I booked my flight and hotel today. So 2 weeks before you could sleep on your bed. That is scarey because I will be staying in a hotel for a week before i return to Canada. Hope I will be able to sleep . I am glad that you are happy with the results. I talked to Dr Nyte and he does not use pain pumps. He uses Tumescents when he does surgery. What that means is when he does the lipo he injects epinephrine and lidocaine so for the first few days while it is seaping out you are pretty much frozen. I like the idea of that How many days were your drains in before they removed them? I can't fly home until they are gone so I am curious. Doctor said 5-7 days is normal. How long were yours in? 2 weeks out what would you say your pain is out of 10. Did you notice that the pain go a little less every day? What laxative did you take to help with constipation while on the nargets? Okay thats enough questions for now. I look forward to hearing from you Debbie
  20. Thanks everyone. I am soooooooooooooo happy
  21. You will love that Tomatoe Pie Girl !! As for exercise the more weight I lose the m ore addicted I get to it. I would have never thought in a million years that one day I would be looking forward to exercising but I honestly do. My body feels so much better and so does my mind. Tomorrow I will be doing a 2 hour mountain hike with my daughter and can hardly wait
  22. Happy Birthday Angie. Hope it was a good one!!!!!!!!!!! Carrie you look so good. Your face is getting so thin. How is the post op period going. Is the pain gone ? How is the tummy looking? Debbie
  23. Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you know that as of today March 27th I am in WONDERLAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not been here since I was a teenager. What an exhilerating feeling. Only 24 more pounds and I will be at the goal weight Dr Miranda gave me. It is hard to believe that I was banded on September 29th, 2009 and my entire life has changed in 6 months. All I can say is Thank you Dr Ortiz and staff. And thank you to everyone on this forum who has answered my questions, supported and encouraged me through this process . You all Rock ! Debbie
