Just got home from being in the hospital for a week. Nothing band related but was on IV atibiotics and fluids only. So today
Break: porridge ( I MISS MY TOMATOE PIE
Lunch: yogurt
Dinner: yogart
I am so excited and had to share it with all my band friends. As you know from my stats I was a 5-6 x size when I first got banded. Today I went shopping with my daughter at Walmart. I saw this really cute pair of yoga pants on sale for $12.00. They were a size large. I grabbed them without trying them on because my plan was to take them home and hang them on my closet door for motivation. You know a goal to strive for.
Anyways I got home and decided to try them on to see how small they would be on me and oh my gosh they actually fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did a huge happy dance in my house. I am officially out of Pennington sizes and can buy off of normal store racks. I am so excited I could just shout for joy.
Thank you everyone for all your encouragement and support. Getting banded has been the best decision that I have ever made in my life and I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo thrilled to be doing this journey with all of you.
I LOVE MY BAND.
Thanks Kayla. I really feel like a brand new person. It is people like you who keep me motivated to keep going. I want to be a good example for all those who follow me. I am hoping that next week I will hit 100 pounds lost
Awesome. Thanks for sharing that with me. Maybe it is the secret weapon as I eat tuna every day. ( Ha). Personally whether it is the tomatoe pie, the tuna or eating the same food over and over I am just happy that the weight is melting off.

Prior to your surgery you go on a preop diet and are expected to lose about 5 % of your body weight. This weight loss makes your liver more pliable with less fat on it and that is important for the surgeon as your liver is lifted in order to access the top of the stomach and band it.

Thanks Cheryl. I am praying I will reach my goal by my birthday in May and then extented tummy tuck in the summer.
I feel like I have been given a brand new lease on life and I am going to live it to the fullest.
