I too have PCOS. While I havent been banded yet, in an attempt to help me lose weight the doctor put me on a medicine called Avadament which is a mix between Glucophage and Avandia. They are both antidiabetic drugs. It does seem to help with cravings for carbs. Just a word to the wise though, if you do get put on it, the Glucophage will make you feel like crap the first couple weeks and even up to a month, but stick with it cause it does go away.
