      You can definitely do this. It's crazy after I got past the 190 plateau (that we both experienced) I've been dropping consistently with really concentrating on my water intake.

      I really have to focus on my water intake, im doing bad with that.. i just got through a few fatty birthdays and coming up are two big weddings..gotta look good for the snobby people :)

  5. i think banster hell is the period between getting banded and your first fill. you're pretty much on your own then... if you got throught that, you have nothing to worry about. you're doing great. and dama's suggestion sounds really good. i try not to go hungry, if im hungry i eat,but i try to pick up something healthy. but there was a time where i was eating healthy snacks between meals because i was getting really hungry really fast but even then, the snacks weren't doing the trick... and yes it felt like HELL!! lol i understand why you would call this bandster hell too..LOL but i just got a fill about 20 days ago and the hunger went away again.
  6. yes, that's right, Dr. Miranda suggests a goal weight. She asked he how much I would like to lose, I told her I want to get back to my healthy 125-130 and she said.. "That's your goal weight" ... I don't have any training, but I think that 130 was my happiest weight. lol. my clothes fit right, and looked nice. i felt good about myself and would like to get back to that.
  7. It's so nice to read things like this... congratz to all you ladies and I can't wait to be walking down the same road one day. I've never been pregnant, but I guess you can say my boyfriend and I are trying. I have not seen a doctor about why I haven't gotten pregnant after so many attempts, but I know my weight can be a huge factor in my fertility. It just motivates me to hear these things from other bansters... i'm really looking forward to getting healthy for my baby in the future. <3

  10. did you end up getting the fill? I got mine. Dr. So added only .5cc's to my 8ccs and i feel good.

  12. it's normal. you're still tender. you will burp alot and it will feel funny. but if you are in pain, call the OCC
  13. I went to the OCC on July31st and it was fine. There is nothing to worry. When I go to the OCC I travel to Rosarito and Popotla beaches... We make the best of the trip, but I wouldnt recommend it if you're not familiar with the area. ALL IN ALL... it's fine to go.
  14. I know how you feel. My parents are the same way... I prepare all my own meals for work the next day because my very sweet and helpful mother doesn't understand what "NO OIL OR BUTTER" means... but she's the first to complain about me being fat. You are doing really good and 60something pounds in 3 months is amazing. just keep motivating yourself and don't rely on others to reassure you that you are doing great. I guess I learned to ignore others negativity and pat myself on the shoulder and tell myself im doing great. My sore legs from the gym and all the other little things that I couldn't do before that I secretly am proud of are what keep me going.
  15. hang in there, it shouldn't be so hard, just watch what you eat until then. I made the mistake of eating like I used to because I had no restriction. But..I also didn't lose any weight. I'm losing weight again now, I'm super happy and motivated. You'll do fine! trust me.

  17. I've found that when I do eat these foods... they ALWAYS come back up. I went through a list of foods that I mourned but I found piece of mind knowing that it's for my own good, and only good things will come from this. I've ate these foods knowing that I shouldn't, but I chewed so well I was able to keep them down...so when I was able to eat them again I realized my restriction was gone. So I pretty much cheated myself. As far as the drinking with your food... If you're having a nice healthy meal and chewing really well, and you take a sip of water... you will get stuck. Well at least I do... I picture what Dr. So says... "It's like flushing all your food down" but, it hurts, so i stick to the ice cube idea, where you can suck on a ice cube to soothe the thirst.

    Is burping ok?

    i burped like crazy the whole time... productive burping is only when you burp up all your food... i say don't worry about that, you probably wont have to worry about PB until you get to solid foods or your 1st fill
  19. Well you will learn by reading the posts and stuff. that's how i learned about most of these things, i also go back to the OCC for my fills and Dr. So already knows i have tons of questions. Sliming to me is when you eat something and you have to spit up a little bit. When you spit it's REALLY slimy. Well that's what i think. The forum is where i learned a lot, if you have a question, just post it...and everyone is always very helpful. Congratz on your band!
  20. So I went to the OCC this past weekend and I asked Dr. So this question. He said ( I may be a little off) the 4cc band is 10cm in diameter. and the 10cc band is 11cm in diameter...

  22. yeah... well I'm pretty much in charge of my portion control right now. I try to eat the same amount as if i had good restriction even tho i can keep going, i try to stop myself. I try to eat the palm size protein, then probably a cup of veggies or a tiny bit of grain. and working out like 3-4 times a week, but im getting super hungry in between meals. the only thing that had me confused was that, i kinda felt the tightness when i ate my proteins but i could keep eating until my plate was empty, ofcourse i have stopped myself and it kinda sucks that i'm not feeling satisfied with small portions anymore. Deep down inside i don't want a unfill. he said that i may need an unfill if my band isnt letting me eat enough to feel satisfied, but that's not my case.. i eat enough.. lol. So i'm going in tomorrow. i'll let you know how it goes.. Thanx girl, i got the digits..i'll pm you mine.
  23. AHAHAHAHAHA!! you are hilarious!! "papichulo dr.so" AHAHAHHAHAHAHA i found my paper and called him this morning. I'm going in for my fill anyway. He said I may need a slight unfill or maybe just a baby fill.. thank you doll.
  24. I have a fill scheduled ay the occ this weekend but I want to call the occ for advice. Does anyone have the number of the person that can answer my questions? I'm looking everywhere for my list of #s. Can someone message me THANKS <3
