  1. that's awesome... i hope i can get used to this fast... i'm so used to driving everywhere (i guess that doesn't help the fact that im over weight) im planning on not buying a car for the rest of the year... i'll be able to save and buy myself a nice car and and STILL continue to use my bike. i'm starting today.
  2. feel better stormy ur not alone. i feel like that sometimes... i just recently had my car break down (i let someone else borrow it) and he's not even offering to help. i don't have $ to get a new one OR a used one.. much less fix it! my bad took over my $ and im frustrated. i woke up with a stiff neck and im not losing weight. it's hard...but my point is YOU'RE NOT ALONE. feel better.

  4. so my car broke down over the weekend... i usually stop at the gym on my way home. do cardio for an hour and go home... now that i'm taking public transportation the gym is really out of my way... like 3 miles the other way. soo... i thought of a plan... im going home and jumping on my bike and heading out to the gym... i just hope im not too tired to work out when i get there. can anyone recommend any work out routines i should do? being that i already biked 3 miles to get there? keep in mind, my usual routine was 30 min eliptical (2.5 miles) and 30 min fast pace walking on the treadmill on steep incline. thanx wish me luck!

  7. ok... first of all... two days ago... i thought to myself.."i wonder if this only happens to me!?" and BAM!! a post..hehe.. Well, two days ago. Mother's day. My bf and his entire family including grandmas... went out for lunch/brunch at a chinese food buffet. i grabbed a bunch of stuff that i thought wouldn't get stuck or make me pb... sat down ate some stuff and THEN i look at my bf... he looks at me like "ooh ooh!" so i excuse myself to the restroom. there was about 4 people in front of me and then, it came up!! i PB'd and it was in my mouth. i held my hand over my mouth until it was my turn.. eventually i had to make like 3 trips that day i told my bf's family the restroom was full and had to come sit back down, but for some reason, this little old lady was in there every single time i went. so the last time i was in there she asked me if i was sick, i said "i think so.." then she said... "do you think maybe you're pregnant?" i looked at her, laughed a little and said.. "hmm... i might be" (i said that cus i figured it would be a good excuse to tell a stranger) THHHHHHEN!! my sweet little old lady sees where im sitting and walks by, pats me on the shoulder and says "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" in front of my bf's family!!! --- i told them i told her that just so she'd let me cut in front of her since i had been holding it for so long--- it was still embarrassing...

  10. lol 'fluffy' foods... yeah i think im discovering what i my band likes and doesn't like. because there is some foods that i have no problem with... and they stay down fine. so i really hope im not too tight. thanks

  12. so im at my 3rd fill a week ago today.. the only thing is... im spitting up like some sort of slime after eating.. like every time i eat i burp a little and something comes up (spit and food). it doesnt hurt or anything... im not eating very much and i am able to keep food down... i just havent experience this type of restriction before. it's usually really gummy food or rice, or bread that does that to me... pretty much things i shouldnt be eating... i had a hard boiled egg yesterday and there was no way THAT was staying down.. im just afraid im too tight (i really hope not) but i am keeping food down... i just have to pick really carefully what it is.. and liquid is fine too... i just hurts if i drink too soon... soo im keeping a close eye on that too. thanx bunches. i think im at my sweet spot tho.. i just want to make sure this is what it's suppose to feel like <3

  14. yes i do peel them... it's usually the lettuce that feels weird.. but so far im loving every moment.. i've lost a few pounds (all the cardio is helping too)
  15. What I do is.. Listen to pandora radio on my iPhone. I set it to "pitbull radio" and I get a bunch of club music. It reminds me of when I'd wear my size 5 dresses. Just thought I'd add. I have to warn you tho' VERY EXPLICIT! But my fav work out song... Stronger- kanye west
  16. does anyone have an issue with eating regular green salad? i packed a side of green salad with cucumbers for lunch and it just feels weird going down.. not stuck! just weird.. like a very very very small feeling of getting stuck. but i don't. i know i chewing enough... i don't let it go down until it's mashed up enough.. am i just getting used to my new fill.. im at 8.0cc's now. i don't feel like im over filled.. i know im able to eat and drink.. just really slow. or is this what i paid for? lol RESTRICTION??

  18. i went back yesterday... i got an 1.4 ccs added to my 6.6 ccs. im at 8ccs. i was drinking a warm liquid to open up my band.. but eventually i didnt need it anymore.. i think this is my sweet spot. 8cc's well im going to keep my fingers crossed. i was eating solids right after the fill because dr. so said i could... just eat slowly. but this time around...im doing a liquid diet for the 1st 3 days or 2.. thanx girls. oh and angie.. i havent lost any weight! well ive been going up and down 5 lbs and it's been hell.. im at the gym 3 days a week and been struggling with my food intake but im doing the best i can... im eliminating red meat this time around hopefully that helps.. bread is gone. pasta, starchy stuff is a no no.. i had a french fry yesterday and got stuck.. uggggh.. we'll have to see how this goes.
  19. thank you very very much. i was really feeling guilty about it. i just remember i had good restriction the 1st week and then it started to go away... i tried eating a sandwich yesterday and it went down FINE. i chewed normally and i thought id get a stuck feeling and NOTHING... that just made me schedule a fill.. ur very right...it's my investment.:] thank you ...very much that made me feel...

  20. thank you... i don't feel the restriction at all.. i liked how i felt when i had to drink some tea in the morning before getting started. now i feel NONE. im hoping to go this thursday. just waiting for my confirmation
  21. so i got earlier this(4/4) month and im trying to schedule another 4/29. im at 6.6 ccs and i lost the restriction i had at first... now i have no restriction.. is it too soon? or has anyone recovered restriction without going back for a fill? i hope this doesnt sound dumb... i just dont want to do things wrong.
  22. what you have to do is email them... well Gloria Miranda. and she'll give you the whole package deal.. fill is $100 and they do have little packages that include pick up from mexicoach and stuff.. just email and they can give you more info. i believe you can book rooms through them too.
