  2. Bready To Roll! (Care of Hungry-girl.com) It seems like every week there's some new, low-calorie bread item popping up. (We're not complaining!) Last week, it was the Nature's Own Sandwich Rounds; the week before THAT, we gabbed about Thomas' Bagel Thins. Well, hold onto your Laughing Cow, people, because Sara Lee has just introduced a brand-new product -- 130 Calories & Delightful Bagels, which come in Plain and 100% Whole Wheat. Each of those nicely sized bagels has 130 calories (duh!), 1g fat, 330 - 340mg sodium, 24g carbs, 6 - 8g fiber, <1 - 1g sugars, and 10g protein (POINTS® value 2*). If you like Sara Lee's Delightful bread, you'll flip for these.
  3. That would be me! Too bad I found my drinking buddy and she lives in Kansas I am so glad you liked the mixers b/c I thought they tasted like s**t Maybe I am doing something wrong? I ran out of vermouth so that may be it. I used Smirnoff vodka...do you think I need to kick it up a notch with a different vodka? Which do you use?

Orange Creamsicle Martini PER SERVING (entire recipe, 1 martini): 109 calories, 0g fat, 69mg sodium, 2.5g carbs, 0g fiber, 0.5g sugars, 0g protein -- POINTS® value 2* This low-calorie cocktail tastes EXACTLY like those sherbet 'n ice cream bars you used to eat as a kid... Mmmmmmmm! Ingredients: 4 oz. diet orange soda, room temperature 1.5 oz. orange-flavored vodka (like Smirnoff Twist of Orange)
 1.5 oz. Torani Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup 1 tbsp. Cool Whip Free Directions: Place all ingredients in a martini shaker, but DO NOT shake (or the carbonated soda will explode!). Mix thoroughly with a spoon until mixture is mostly lump-free. Add about 1 cup ice (crushed, if you've got it), and stir until mixture is cold. Fat Free Reddi-wip Directions: Fill a martini shaker halfway with ice (preferably crushed). Combine cocoa mix with 2 oz. hot water, and mix well. Then add 2 oz. cold water, and pour the mixture into the martini shaker. Add the vodka, syrup and Reddi-wip, and cover the top of the shaker. Shake for about a minute, or until the liquid is cold. Then strain into 2 martini glasses. Enjoy!   8. Debbie is a Rockstar!!! No change for me this week. Still at 169...but I have come to the conclusion that my scale is on crack. Caught it being shady on more then one occassion. Plus my clothes are getting looser every day. Looked in the mirror this morning after getting dressed and did a double take.
  9. Hmmm...interesting, I was at the other end of the spectrum post op. I did not have a bm for 3 weeks and I did not have any gas downstairs but I did and still do have plenty of gas upstairs!! I never was a burper before being banded and now I can't stop!

  11. Thomas' Bagel Thins I found these at Costco this weekend and I am doing cartwheels! You get a pack of 16 bagels at Costco for $4.19 and toasted with the Laughing Cow Light Cheese Wedge instead of cream Cheese the Bagel AND the Cheese is only 145 calories OR 2 WW points!!! I also want to mention that if you toast these babies they also make the perfect bread for a sandwich! I made tuna salad sandwiches with these this weekend and guess what I used in the tuna instead of mayo?!?! If you said Laughing Cow Light Cheese Wedges you are absolutely right!! Just pop a couple of wedges in the micro for 15 seconds to bring to room temp and you are good to go! Thomas' Bagel Thins - People are going gaga for these things. (Imagine Sandwich Thins, only a bagel version.) In Plain or 100% Whole Wheat, each has 110 calories, 1g fat, 190 - 210mg sodium, 24 - 25g carbs, 4 - 5g fiber, 3g sugars, and 4 - 6g protein (POINTS® value 1*). We've been barraged with emails about 'em. Worth seeking out!

  13. Please use me as an example (someone has to set a bad example) - I never fast before a fill and I just sceduled my 4th fill at the OCC for 4/2/10 so what does that tell you??? Now Angie2 fasted approx 28 hours before her first fill (she went with me) and she said Dr. So wanted to give her 5cc for her first fill! (she only let him give her 4cc) I only got 3cc on my first fill!
