    I am now 5 1/2 months post op and feeling great. I have had 3 fills and now have 7cc in my 11cc band. Food gets stuck frequesntly and it is uncomfortable but I am learning to deal with it. I will be going back to the OCC next week for my fourth and hopefully final fill. I want to lose another 35 pounds and then I will finally be happy!

    I am confused. I have 7cc's in my 11cc band and feel occasional pain when food gets stuck. When this happens I need to throw up and the pain goes away. Is this what restriction feels like? I want the feeling of fullness but not the pain of feeling stuck. I know I need to eat slower and take smaller bites but will I feel full eventaually? This pain is getting me down. Please give me some advice. I still want to get another fill because when I take smaller bites and eat slow I can still eat a lot. HELP...

    How did your fill go? My band is still pretty tight. Usually after the first week it will loosen up. It has a little but loving that I HAVE to stay away certain foods. The third fill looks like my golden ticket.

    Today went well, had 2.5 cc's added for a total of 7.5 He said I should not have to come back. I hope I don't !!!! Flight coming home was delayed but other wise all went well. I'm going to do liquids until Thursday and I felt restriction when drinking Dr. So was testing on how much to add. Glad to be home :)

    then you don't have restriction. trust me you'll know :). I went from being able to eat pretty much anything (except somethings like rice and bread) to barely able to eat very much at all.

    well I guess I can tell because before I got my 2nd fill I was eating a lot more. I can only eat about 1/4 -1/2 of a cup of food now before I feel too full. And I have experienced one pb moment when I ate too much chicken after my fill and it got stuck and I ended up throwing it back up. I guess from that I've learned what is too much. and plus the feeling is there. if you don't have it...

    How do you know that if you had any more fill volume you would be too tight? What sensation do you have when you should stop eating? It's different than when food gets stuck, right?

    I'm at 7 cc's in my 11 cc band and can tell a major difference. The weight is coming off fast now. I've lost 5lbs in the past week. my first fill was 3cc's so he gave me 4 the second time around. if it was any tighter i'd be too tight. sounds like your doctor is progressing you along quickly as well.     You said that your fill MD tries to get you to your sweet spot ASAP? How many cc's do you have after your 2nd fill? I only have 6 and still don't feel much restriction. Going for #3 next Monday. I am just curious. Do you have an 11cc band?

    I have lost the exact same amount of weight as you (about 27 lbs) Not much after 2nd fill. I have 6 cc in my band and am going on the 31st for more. I want at least 8. Let me know how your fill trip goes. Weight loss has been much slower than I had hoped.
