    Hey, what is the rule on drinking coffee? I have to have at least 16oz by noon or I get the head ache. I use flavord creamer too. Is that a no no? I am starting my pre op diet tomorrow, which should have been today but.... I need to know if I should begin my withdrawls now before surgery so that I will be ready to live without it.

    Hi, I am glad you asked this question. I am getting banded on 1/28/10 and am trying to get all the information I can. It is really good to get stuff from people who have gone through it. Congrats on your surgery. Are you excited?

    Hello, I am new to this forum and will be getting banded in January. I am both excited and aprehensive. I have heard nothing but rave reviews but I have also read some of the things that go wrong. Not from any of Dr. Ortiz's patients. Any tips to take into consideration while I wait for my special day?

    Thanks for sharing Dr. Steve, I have been searching and searching and I keep coming back to Dr. Ortiz. I am a bit nervous about the surgery because I know it is a life change and since I am going to Mexico I am concerned by follow up care because I live in Oregon. I know I am going to do the procedure because it is a health necessity. Your report helps to ease my mind.
