Hello, my name is Sherry and I have been following some of you on the forum. I am considering lap band, but it is such a scarey thing. My mother had gastric bypass about 20 years ago, and she has never been able to eat without vomiting. I have seen her suffer so much with it,although she did lose down to a good weight, and she is still fairly healthy at 80.

Yes I will have to get money together too, plus my husband has to have hip replacement surgery in feb. So I was planning maybe april or may. How is yours going so far? Any problems and how much have you been able to lose?
