  4. Absolutely the best decision I have ever made was going to OCC and getting my band. Just remember that it's a tool. It isn't the magic solution to all your problems. There are ways to cheat the band and sneak stuff past it. You have to be completely committed to change all your eating habits. To eat the foods that your body needs to nourish it and not eat the crap that got you to your current weight. I got my band in July 2010. I have lost 62 lbs since then. Would have been more but I have been so busy since December that finding time to exercise on a regular basis has proved difficult. I have 38 more to loose and I know I can do it.
  5. I use SHAKEWEIGHT! It had worked great too tighten up my skin and muscles.

  14. I took mine to a homeless shelter. Also , there is always a need at a battered woman's shelter. Many times girls leave with the clothes on their back I am always for giving them to the needy rather than having them re-sold. Sometimes at ridiculous prices.

  17. Congrats:) I have made it 1/2 way to Dr. Miranda's goal too but I have my own personal goal and I still have 8 more lbs for that. I wanted to lose exactly 100 lbs.

      Congrats . I went for my second fill yesterday and am now up to 4 cc's. meals today kept me full almost 4 hours so here's hoping

  20. I had 5.5 cc on my first fill at OCC and 2.5 cc on my second fill at OCC. Total of 8 in my Realize band.
  21. Happy everybody liked the article as much as me. I found it on lapbandtalk.com and it was worth sharing. I thought I needed another fill till I read this, now I'm gonna wait.
