Thanks,
I had the plication procedure. I stayed a week in san diego just on way home now. I am sure that most of the restaurants do add lots of sodium. It was real hard to find broth soups and such so drank lots of water and some apple juice. Just having a hard time right now, I want to eat real food right now (i won't).
I am 8 days post op and weighed myself today and I haven't even lost a pound. How can that be I can only eat about 1/2 cup of soup at meal times and I drink lots of water? And I am constantly walking. I lost more eating shakes on the pre op diet. I am ready to cry, some one please tell me what is going on?
Yes the line up at the border is crazy we waited over 3 three hours at the border, but in the OCC van you feel safe and comfortable. The peddlers don't bother you and he knows the best way to cross. He is responsible for you and getting you to your destination. The driver also said that Nov. and dec is always busier because of the holiday seasons. I wouldn't feel real safe or comfortable taking a cab. P.S. don't drink lots of fluids before leaving because there are no bathrooms along the way.
I am 4 days out of surgery. I am so sick of broth and not eating real food, this is going to be a long 3 weeks. How long does the pain at the stomach last for? Even if I drink water I have this pain and constant burping.
Hi,
I am scheduled for plication in 5 days. I have every thought and emotion running right now, some times I even feel like backing out on this surgery. I some times think this is the craziest thing I could do to myself. Did any one else feel like this? Is this just pre surgery jitters and once I am there everything will be fine?
Crystle,
Where are you from in canada, I am from saskatchewan. When you say you haven't told your doctor yet, neither have I, kinda scared to. Oh well he will have to get used to it.
I am having the plication surgery on Dec 2. Would anybody know how long until I can go back to work? I work in a grocery store and do some heavy lifting. Also curling, would I have to wait 3 months?
